    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

His rhetorical question was meant to be just that; a rhetorical question and yet, Vhalla couldn’t help but respond with a wave of her hand, her eyes twinkling with amusement, “Yes, don’t ask stupid questions,” she says dryly, though there isn’t any force behind it, instead, the corner of her lips tug into a devilish smile as she pushes herself to a standing position and saunters into the kitchen, entirely aware of the way Lazarus’s eyes linger on her backside. Oh, she was enjoying this far more than she should be and yet, she couldn’t stop herself from teasing him, she couldn’t stop herself from… whatever this was. Not quite a friendship, something more perhaps, something she certainly had never had before. Even her and Tetradore had never been like this, their relationship having been rather complicated. Though, Tetradore was farther from her thoughts than he had ever been, the woman pausing to glance over her shoulder, brows arching at him as Lazarus practically growls at her. Her grin widens at the man, a nonchalant shrug lifting a singular shoulder, “We both know that you get your ass handed to you every time I challenge you to something,” a lie, but she she couldn’t help but egg him on, how she enjoyed this little game they played. “Even if you tried to get your shirt back, I doubt you would succeed,” she smirks casually at him before continuing her way into the kitchen, quickly putting a pot of coffee on and rummaging through the cupboards, making sure she gave the hunter a show.

Honestly, she’s surprised the man hadn’t moved from the couch yet as she reaches higher into that cabinet, successfully showing off her bottom. It is then that she hears Lazarus push himself up from the couch, stalking towards her, goosebumps raising along her arms as she finally retrieves what she needs, places it on the counter and turns to face him, the man far closer than she had anticipated. That roguish smile so adorns her lips as she tilts her head to look up at the man, her fingers itching to run through his hair, to reach out to him and pull him flush against her body, but she stops herself, brows raising as her icy eyes meet his. His deep tenors caress her ears before his hand slides into place at her hip, gripping that shirt she so wore, her voice turning more husky than she had meant, she glances up at him through thick lashes, “Are you calling me a liar, Laz?” She says almost a touch breathless as she stops herself from leaning into him. His next statement sends a thrill through her, her breath hitching as her eyes widen slightly in excitement. She can’t help the way her heart leaps in response, racing faster than she had wanted it to and yet, she manages to contain it as her calloused fingers finally leave the edge of the counter, running her slender hands across his strong arms ever so slowly, “Hmmm, is that so?” She murmurs, though it was absurdly clear she wasn’t wearing anything besides underwear beneath this shirt, her chest peaked in arousal making it very clear just what she was thinking.

Yet, Vhalla wasn’t quite ready to give it up just yet, she was enjoying herself and as much as she loved the thrill of the hunt, it was nice to be the one hunted for a change. Again, that wry smile so dances upon her lips as she moves, almost faster than the eye can see, her hand down, slapping away Lazarus’s grip, spinning out of his reach, she moves lightly across the floor, only to put a touch of distance between them. Her chest rises and falls rapidly, her eyes bright with excitement and lust, “Did you think it would be that easy?” She purrs at him, balancing on her toes as she’s ready to dart down the hallway, “You should know better than to challenge me, Laz,” she breathes, though she can’t deny how utterly turned on she was by this little game. Lifting a hand, she beckons with a singular finger, taunting him, daring him into giving chase as she slowly backs into the hallway, her blue eyes never leaving the man until she turns suddenly on her toes and takes off down the hall, an almost girlish giggle so escaping her lips as she flings herself into the library, the woman racing down one of the bookshelves only to hide behind it gleefully.

She can’t stop the way her breath comes in raggedly, though she was hardly tired she merely wanted the man. Pressing her back against the bookshelf, she peers around the side only to hide her face once more as she glances the hunter enter the room. It was clear where this was going to end, but it didn’t mean that she wasn’t going to make Lazarus work for it. “I’m waiting,” she calls out, her voice undeniably lustful.
