    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

i'll whisper to you all night long as slow and soft as you want it67.143.208.110Posted On February 11, 2018 at 11:42 AM by Taylor Dixon

He told himself that everything he ever did was for the right reasons, even if it didn't always go the way he wanted it to. He always had good intentions when it came down to it. He stood up for Adelaide that night because it was the right thing to do. He didn't expect anything from her, not even a thanks. He just wanted to know that she was got to go about the rest of her night unharassed by fools like the one who thought to grab her cause no woman should be treated like that. He didn't expect her to bring him home or try to nurse his wounds. He wouldn't have asked it of her. He just wanted to do the right thing. And now look where he was, at the mercy of that same woman in his own apartment. He took in all her hopes and dreams the way a starving man takes in food. He couldn't get enough. He wanted to know everything she wanted and more than that, he wanted to watch her accomplish all of it. He thought after Becca that he would never fully trust himself with another woman but Adelaide made a liar out of him.

He found himself falling for her faster than he could ever guess or imagine. She was everything he could ever want in a woman and more. She was spirited and had a heart of gold. She didn't love him for the things he could do for her but rather the things they could do together. It humbled him and boosted him up in ways he never imagined. Whereas other women and other relationships were prone to making him feel trapped, he never felt more free in any life he could imagine with Adelaide. He could see them with kids running around in the yard laughing and being just another perfect family. In the same light, he could see Adelaide holding onto his waist as they flew down the interstate on his Harley with no destination in mind, just following where the road would take them. It was all so refreshing and gratifying. She brought up staying and he knew he would love that more than anything but he couldn't be selfish, not with her. She meant so much already to so many.

She told him that they would have to share and how Townsend and the bistro could get along fine without her. He smirked. "Even so, I don't think Townsend would know what his purpose is without you to take care of. And the bistro is held together by the glue that you make up. You are its heart, Adelaide. It runs the way it does because you made it that way." And he couldn't be proud of her for that. He could see that she wanted him to know just how much she wanted to be there with him and it made him so happy to know that she felt so welcome in his home because there was nothing more he could want. Anywhere he was, she was welcome and he wanted her to know that without question. The next moment though, things were heating up. She moved into his lap, bringing every inch of him flaring back to life with a new hunger as her hands roamed over his chest. He ached to have her touch bare flesh and in the same moment, he didn't trust himself to be a gentleman should it get that far.

His attraction to her was obvious as was the fact that he was growing weaker to her advances by the second. Every move she made, he countered, his body moving like a magnet, drawn to hers. Her hips shifted toward him and he rumbled in his throat, the friction working wonders on his long dormant libido. He felt like a hormonal teenager again, all angsty and too forward, too eager. She brought it out in him. His body ached to do so many things to her but his heart fought for control, wanting to hold onto her and never let go. The two battled inside him like gladiators, both determined to gain victory over his head and steer him in the right direction. His name releasing from her lips is like a jump start to his system and he might have lost it right there had he not decided to take a little bit of the control back by kissing her. It was a damn good kiss. She met him hungrily, moaning into his mouth as he swept his tongue in a dangerous dance with her own. He nipped at her lip, suckling on it as he angled his mouth for a deeper kiss.

He knew he wanted this more than anything. The only thing that could ruin it is himself so he drew back before he got too far to turn back. He pressed his forehead against hers, trying to catch his breath and failing as his heart skipped beats in his chest. He opened himself up to her yet again cause it came so easily and this was important. He wouldn't dare touch her again if there was risk to losing her involved. Instead she pulled him in to kiss him, a more pleasant kiss but still ripe with passion. She told him that she believed him and he smiled warmly, his eyes practically glowing. Then she said something he never expected to hear, at least not for a long time. Sure, he knew that they were moving fast and the feelings were growing at a rapid rate but he never expected her to say that she was falling in love with him. His eyes grew as big as saucers as she confessed to him, his very heart threatening to jump out of his chest with such a revelation.

It couldn't have been a more perfect moment, her telling him how she felt. He was utterly breathless. He felt like he was mouthing like a fish out of water. He couldn't think, couldn't breathe. He could only feel and it was eating him up inside. She loved him. And he felt like the luckiest man in the world. At first all he could do was stare at her, taking her in in all her wonder. But the moment he saw the first flashes of doubt cross her face, he knew he had to act or he'd lose this. He smiled and pulled her close, running his nose against hers in an eskimo style kiss. "You continue to take my breath away, Adelaide, every moment that we're together. I love you, too. I couldn't imagine another moment of not loving you." He pulled her close then, his lips finding hers again in a clash of emotions. He silently prayed for forgiveness from Townsend and whatever gods may not like it as his hands roamed over her body, memorizing every inch before finding the rest of the buttons of her blazer and starting a slow repeating gesture of unbuttoning so he could get the rest of the night started. Now that he knew how she felt, he couldn't to touch her, skin to skin.
