    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

It was all-too easy to allow his arms to encircle his mates waist, tugging the woman softly back against him in that hug, his lips pressing against her neck in that affectionate, teasing kiss. Such public displays of affection were rare between the pair, even more so for that other side of himself whom had not yet quite grasped the concept of affection in any sense- at least not beyond those most back, gentle touches or those rubs afforded in his Leopard form. This side of himself however, almost seemed to relish in that touch and connection the woman provided him. He adored the scent of her, the taste of her- her simple physical presence entirely addictive to him in a fashion he hardly cared to explain or felt any need to understand. His love for her far more readily expressed by this being than any other and yet, surely, that affection he offered now so at least proved it existed all the same, even when sheltered beneath the embrace of that far less sane creature whom seemed to present himself to the world more often. Why that ‘Other’ seemed to be so much more powerful than himself he hardly knew. Why did he so often take over control? Why couldn’t they…share? Tobias near content to smile at even the thought of that word. His other half, as a rule, did not share. That idea foolish to his mind already and yet still he could hardly help but wonder just how or why that other side of himself so often seemed to be the one in control. He was no longer in some sort of ever-present danger, he didn’t need that more ‘wild’ side to save him again and yet that side of himself, he knew, was unlikely to ever leave. Tobias allowing Raven’s words to distract him now. The man softly chuckling against her neck.

“Well- I can stop.”

The words were entirely teasing, his lips pressing to her neck again as if daring the woman to ask him to stop. His gaze shifted then to eye those outfits she had chosen. Tobias assured she would look good in anything shoe chose regardless of what it was and yet this….shopping business, it seemed, was one that required more thought then he had previously ever considered. Shopping, after all, was hardly a daily task or one either of those beings whom existed within him truly held much experience with. Choosing clothes for Raven even less familiar then the shopping itself. Still- the shaggy-haired man was entirely determined to at least assist in some fashion. Tobias reaching into his back pocket for the wallet he knew was there. That ‘Other’ as aware of it as he himself. After all, some memories, some knowledge, existed easily between them. He opened that wallet easily as he lent away from the woman just slightly, Tobias plucking several of those bills from within with the intention of paying for that outfit for his fiancé. Raven herself turned but a few moments later, the woman’s eyes suddenly widening, Tobias near freezing in place in some effort to understand that….look upon her face. The woman appearing decidedly dumbfounded as she stared at him. What had he done? That near oblivious look upon his own face still as Raven suddenly shifted closer, her voice a high pitched whisper then.

Stealing? Oh. Maybe that was why he had so much money in here. Since he never actually paid for anything. Apparently. That weekly money allowance Tetradore afforded him clearly stashed in that wallet for a rainy day- so to speak- god knows where else that money might be hidden around the ark. Tobias glancing from that wallet to Raven and back again. How often did he steal things? All the time? Had he never offered to buy Raven anything? How questionable a person was this ‘other’ half of himself? Tobias momentarily struggling for just the right words here. Raven plucking that money from his fingers a moment later before turning around to march towards the checkout with Tobias in tow.

“I….don’t know why he steals things. We’ve always had a wallet. Tetradore gives us money every week or whenever we ask for it. He doesn’t spend it though- apparently. Maybe he’s….investing it?”

That simper tugged at his own lips all the same. Both of them entirely aware, surely, that Tobias was most assuredly not investing in anything. Rather, it seemed, that deviant was hoarding that money. Though how or why remained to be seen. His other side apparently a cheapskate. A major one at that. Maybe thrifty was a better word- or an optimistic one. It hardly took long to actually buy those clothes and head out of that store, Raven easily allowing her hand to find his own as they wandered back towards that studio. The man commenting on that need to know her sizing just in case he ever needed to shop without her. Tobias hardly anticipating the way she moved to stand on her tiptoes, whispering those numbers to him a moment later.

“Is there a reason these are a secret?”

He could hardly help that chuckle that found him all the same, the pair arriving back at the studio then. Tobias nodding simply as Raven made her way into that bathroom to change, the man instead shifting his attention to the woman who ran the store as she offered several explanations of what they could do. His head nodding attentively before the sounds of Raven returning drew his attention, his gaze readily resting on that bright cerulean blouse, the colour so much brighter and cut far more feminine then what she normally wore. Tobias unable to help that grin that found his lips at the sight of her then.

“You look lovely- I think we’re ready now.”

He gestured lightly to that woman then as she ushered them to the back of that studio with its large screens and those white boxes to sit on, Tobias easily making himself comfortable before holding his hand out for raven to take- the man gently tugging her down to sit beside him, his arm wrapping around her before turning to face that camera. The deviant, for once, offering that genuine, beaming smile that never seemed to find his face otherwise. Taking those photographs was a decidedly easy thing to do. Several of them taken sitting and standing together, Tobias tugging her onto his lap in one of those more playful photos, his lips pressing to her cheek unexpectedly if only to capture that moment of genuine surprise and delight upon her features before asking after any photos she herself might like to get done and posing for those in turn. The pair left with a veritable stack of images to choose from afterwards, the woman laying copies of each of them out on that counter for them. Tobias turned easily to Raven then.

“Well, which ones do you like the most?”
