    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

None Of It Has Ever Satisfied My Soul

”Are you for real? She’s talking to a ghost?... And she wants to put him back in his body?” Gideon lowered his hand but kept one on his temple in a sign of confusion and frustration. Great, he was going to have to tell her the truth. He didn’t just do this because he wanted to... Hell, Gideon rarely ever killed out of pure pleasure unless it was a personal vendetta; Such as seeing someone steal right from under anothers nose, or witnessing someone being abused, or if he had to cover his tracks on a job… Those were the only time circumstances came into play. Other than that, Gideon only killed when money was in his hands and he was given clear instructions, and took great joy in the kill, like a tiger catching a wary prey, and celebrating by feasting upon it’s warm corpse.
A grim comparison, but it was reality...
His client wanted the guy dead because of some sort of personal crime. Gideon recalled having asked the man what it was, but would only say it was personal.. How is this woman going to explain this to a ghost?
Gideon could feel cold air around him, and he could only assume that it was the specter floating around him.

Coming to an executive decision of his own, he removed his hand from his temple and put his hands slightly below his waist and stared at the brunette in front of him… He could tell from looking into her eyes that combat was the last thing she wanted, Gideon as well. All he wanted to do, was go to his little hideout he had made, and just get out of this damn clothes. Maybe even spend some of his money at that fancy little pub and just have a drink after tracking that idiot down and bringing him to the rendezvous point here in the Warehouse District.
Why did these things have to happen though? Rarely throughout the years, did Gideon have to ever really deal with someone being around like this. In the past, in the days of Kings and Queens, yes he had to make sure his kills were quick and that he had an exit. Especially if his target was in a sea of faces. Even though he often would blend in with the masses and he often killed to make it look like his victim was impaled by someone else. This was more than a problem, it was an annoyance at best… ”Father always did say things wouldn’t be easy in this line of work… And to simply trust our judgement, our heart and tools... “
Gideon had thought to himself as he would take a deep breath and pop his neck by tilting it to the side.

”I didn’t kill him for my own enjoyment… I was paid; Client had an interesting uh… Request if you will… Wanted me to kill the victim in front of him. The price was worth it though.”
He snickered at the end as he explained to her and removed his hands from his waist, and folded them across one another. And had a brief chuckle at her offer.
“You want to revive him, just so he can die again? Don’t you realize I have been trained to kill swiftly? He wouldn’t have a chance. And you don’t seem the kind to really put someone through that kind of pain again.
The only way I’m agreeing to that, is if you pay me for my troubles. And I’m not talkin’ about for a measly cash…”
Gideon smirked, as he knew she wouldn’t have the money to even pay the price, that his previous client paid him. But he didn’t care for this silly back and forth, he just wanted to leave already.
“But listen, you’re not my problem or my concern right now, woman. You’re not going to be killed, that I can promise.. So don’t worry.”
He stated to her as he would walked forward without a second thought, and stand beside her, and pull out a piece of hard paper that was laminated to keep from bending too much. On it, was a phone number; His own for that matter. One had to adjust to the times.

He looked her right into the core of her blue-grey eyes and smirked a little, as she seemed confused about the card handed to her. This was a common reaction by people he met, and he knew it wouldn’t change.
“You have someone you want taken care of, be it for revenge or just because, call me… Just make sure you’re talking the right price.. I don’t work for cheap, and I’m the best thing around. Trust me; My name says it all…”
The dark haired Greek would kneel down and whisper in her ear calmly and softly, to make sure the name stuck and she never forgot it.
“The Kingslayer, Reynard…”
He could feel the chills from her skin as he stood up and looked forward, and wondered if she’d follow him. Hell, he had a way to ensure that she did…
“If you want an escort out of her and back to wherever, I’ll offer that free of charge… Take it or leave it. It’s getting dark though, and this place isn’t exactly the one you want to be in alone when it’s dark..”
Gideon voiced with his head turned to the side and back to her as she stood there. He wondered if she was thinking about it, or was talking with that damn ghost again…
