    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

The young witch's stormy blue-grey eyes remained steadfast upon her companion, her hand still settled on her hip as she watched that small gesture of frustration. She was hardly perturbed by the simple fact that she was, undoubtedly, an annoyance within what he had once thought was a successful and complete mission. Quite on the contrary, those sweetheart lips were turned upwards in an altogether bemused fashion, as if she was quite pleased with herself and how she had so twisted what could have been a deadly situation into something slightly more favorable. After all, it hardly mattered to the girl who the ghost was or what he had done to warrant such a death, just too as it hardly mattered to her what the handsome fellow's reasoning was for becoming such a cold hearted killer in the first place. Revenge, greed, an act of passion - it was all the same to Serafina. She watched acutely as his hands fell to his side and undaunted, her gaze met his. He was a curious fellow, that was for sure, and were they in a different place at a different time, he was exactly the sort of man she might have occupied herself with for free drinks at a bar and the promise of an intriguing night. She had always been drawn to the moody dangerous type.

Her eyebrow rose as his head shifted to the side, the popping of those air pockets within his body hardly prompted a word from her and yet, her own affinities danced at the ready all the same. She listened wordlessly as he explained the situation around that poor ghastly figure's death and yet, the girl merely stared at him resolutely. So, he was a hired hand after all. Wasn't that interesting? Really, to take someone's life before you was quite the ultimate powerplay. A useless one but...whatever, who was she to comment on the desires of his clients. It's not like the black market witch hadn't dealt with her own blatantly dumb requests in the past either. Rather, a small shrug of indifference crossed her shoulders at that almost boyish snicker. For one who claimed this murder wasn't carried out for his own enjoyment...he sure did seem to be enjoying himself nicely. His utterance of her plan quite caught the girl off guard as she stared at him dumbfounded, only to roll her eyes as he so assured her that this was not worth his trouble.

"You're an awful judge of character, buddy. I don't think you quite understand the situation you're in." Serafina responded, gesturing lightly at the body within the warehouse. "See, I don't care how many times he fails or how much he wants to ruin his body. This has little to do with what you get paid because I can make him quite an annoyance for you, sweetheart. Trust me, you don't want a zombie poltergeist following you around trying to kill you. What I'm asking you is what you intend to do for me to not let a ghost harass you." Her gaze turned to him quite pointedly. Usually, men understood well when they were being blackmailed...sort of. Either this one was cocky as fuck or he had lost a few brain cells being dropped as a child. Frankly, Serafina wasn't sure which one it was. She watched as he stepped towards her with the sudden assurance that he had little intention of killing her, apparently she too wasn't worth his time. Her lips pressed together slightly in a small show of her own displeasure. Yup - he was just that cocky.

Serafina gingerly took that offered piece of paper from him, her gaze skirting over the numbers on it. That glimpse of confusion was quite clear upon her features as she glanced back up to him, only for the man to offer her his own services. That soft whisper of his name within his ear caused her head to turn towards him, the warmth of his breath upon her skin sent shivers down her body and yet, Serafina was content to merely stare at him all the same for one long moment. "You're so weird." She retorted in a wholly blunt fashion. This was not going how she planned. Still...perhaps there was something to be salvaged from this. The girl reached into her own purse, plucking a single card to offer him in return. "My clients might appreciate your services, and in return, should the circumstances of your jobs ever require a more...subtle aspect give me a call." After all, potions to led to seemingly natural deaths were hardly out of the young witch's realm. That sudden offer for an escort, however, caught the woman off guard. Another shrug crossed her shoulders. "I guess you can stalk me if you want. Though really you have to work on your people skills, you're awful at picking up women." Serafina pointed out, only for her head to tilt to the side, "Though I suppose you have looks going for you so...maybe your flirting skills can suck a bit." She shrugged, placing that card he'd given her within her wallet to be used for a later point in time. "Come along, little stalker, we have to retrieve a magical artifact from my storage unit...and you...shoo. I'm done with you, you didn't work out for me." She turned towards what appeared to be wide open air, the girl entirely content to send that ghost on it's way to the afterlife. Ah well, the young girl was capable of rolling with the punches when so required of her and, quite frankly, she was hardly concerned of her own abilities to defend herself against this Kingslayer. Maybe she should be but...Serafina had a tendency for reckless endangerment.
