East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Anna was once again stopped in her travels, this time by an accented female voice calling down the pathway to her. She had never once bothered nor cared to clean up any of her victims so as to appease or calm any humans coming across them. Whether that was due to her confidence in her ability to cull any who tried to seek revenge or simple child's thought not thinking that far ahead. Her sensitive hearing caught still the sound of the doll shops disruption and a certain curiosity crossed her delicate features. It wasn't often she met others with powers, Ceara having been one of her favored in the few dozen she had come across in her lifetime though she did enjoy the powers where the destruction could be seen.

Her crystal gaze took in the woman's attire, fully appreciating the time old fashion of the dress from a time period she was more familiar with and preferred. Anna's attention slid over to the doll's dresses following behind the woman. "Joli..." The French rolled from her mouth, having been quite a long time since she had spoken her mother tongue, a feeling both natural and welcoming as well as foreign. A small smile was returned to Marjorie, her own small fangs having disappeared for the moment, though some blood still smeared her lips from her earlier meal. Anna held the doll protectively in one arm, curious as to what the woman may want in return for those pretty dresses. "I am Anna-Marie Belrose." She smoothed down the front of her dress with her free hand as she didn't want to appear anything less than perfect, disliking any appearance of being disheveled or dirty whether on herself or another person. The fact that Marjorie so willingly bared her fangs, even in a smile of grace and non-threat, made Anna still unsure of any ulterior motives. "Do you live around here?"

Anna's body may have been frozen in time but her brain had advanced on, though some of her child's tendencies remained if not intensifying. As such her attention kept returning back to the dresses Marjorie "held captive" which she could tell would fit her newly acquired doll. "Can I have those? S'il vous plaît." Her small fingers indicated the floating fabric, twitching slightly as she kept restraint from latching onto the woman's essence. So far she had been given no reason to exert herself on Marjorie, being a fellow vampire and in such a pretty dress herself but the fresh blood that still rang in her system and her intense infatuation with her dolls deemed it was an acceptable action if Marjorie tried to deny her the outfits.
