East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Tetradore was, perhaps, entirely unsurprised by the newest horror that he found himself confronted with, that silver whip glistening in the bright florescent lights above them. For years he had lived subservient under the callous hand of his undead mistress and so, for nearly a decade, his form had fallen prey to a veritable plethora of chains, revealing clothing, silver, and psychological torment. Whatever amused the vampire woman was a casualty he found himself subject to. Tonight would surely be no different. Rather, in some ways, he had quite anticipated it the moment her form had skulked into the door frame of the tavern. Perhaps there was a reason he had been restless tonight. Perhaps his animal side had simply known that his freedom was coming to a rather abrupt resolution. Regardless of Tetradore's surely impending taking into captivity (after all, in what world could he somehow escape the very woman whom could control his every movement), he still found himself skirting to the side of the auburn haired vampire in an effort to somehow reassure her that this would be okay. He'd considered the possibility of giving into Risque - if only to free the young woman at his side from the heartless world he was so particularly used to though he had considered how futile such an effort might be.

Unfortunately, such a thought had hardly given a moment for any sort of action on the part of the feline before those glistening links of silver were cast into such an astounding arc with a force beyond perhaps his comprehension. His whole figure tensed with that flick of metal, intending to teleport them both out of the bite of chain and the sting of alloy. His affinity, however, hardly blossomed to life before Tetradore found his feline figure being lifted by the scruff and propelled forward in a furry he had not anticipated. The strength of a vampire was hardly to be underestimated but still it caught him off guard to find his feet lifted from the ground before gingerly replaced upon the wooden floors. Tetradore's gaze glanced upwards towards the girl though once again he found himself nearly too slow in comparison to the speed his undead keeper. The chain flashed through the air, colliding with pale flesh in a sizzle of gore and pain and blood. Tetradore's emerald gaze fell hard onto the chain that wrapped so vilely around the silken flesh that Tetradore had only moments ago touched in a genteel fashion. It was peculiar almost - the reaction that her discomfort managed to invoke within the beast. Before, he might have fought for his own life though eventually he had always given in. Before, Tetradore might have been willing to return on account for Isolt's safety. But to damage the woman herself invoked within him a cold fury that saw Tetradore's gaze narrow as it turned with a ferocity upon the vampiress herself.

His jaws parted, a his echoing through his lips before he charged forward, using his own ability any second in which the vampire she-demon might have seen fit to control the forward motion of his large ebony paws. His large paws launched himself upwards onto the form of his mistress though he knew well she would hardly budge under his weight. Rather his jaws bit into the woman's arm that held onto the chain attached to the arm of the vampiric woman that he held so dearly. His own poison saliva bit her flesh, forcing her fingers to give way to the chain in an effort only to tear the large jungle cat off of herself. His claws, however dug deeply into her skin and for a moment, the entirety of her attention fell upon him. He could feel the fringes of her affinity flaring to life and so, before she could fully take control of his beastial form, Tetradore let his predatory instincts take over, going for the kill as his jaws left her arm only to sink instead to the tender flesh around her pale, pristine neck.
