East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It would perhaps, come entirely as a surprise to those whom knew him, that each and every one of Dorian's previous affairs had indeed occurred entirely within a bed. In the very least in the actual bedroom itself. The Fae King, prone as he was to experimentation and exploration in entirely this sense, had remained tirelessly bound but at least some levels of the decorum of the society into which he had been born. The very notion of performing any such tasks in any other rooms within his own palace was, at best, decidedly difficult with the sheer numbers of house staff that constantly walked in and out and at worst wholly impossible. His absence, for any length of time, seemed to prompt a veritable search party unless it was so declared he was within his room and hardly wished to be disturbed. Political assassination, while hardly a genuine fear of Dorian himself, had plagued his father to the extent knowing the whereabouts of his children, all of them, had become a matter of the utmost importance. Achieving any form of privacy was a decidedly notorious notion. As for displays of affection in a public place, let alone before the actual public, such things simply were not done. Even between a man and wife such things were frowned upon let alone something so scandalous as two men! Sebastian's words however, seemed to at least hold the suggestion that all manner of things might, in this modern day- by wholly possible without being burned at the stake and indeed if such a thing is true then Dorian finds himself decidedly....intrigued with the idea. To undo five hundred years' worth of understanding however will surely take more than Sebastian's mere suggesting it. As such, it is merely the promise of another time that passes his lips in this regard.

All such thoughts however are rather quickly erased by Sebastian's hand tightening upon his own, the vampire content to guide him effortlessly through these streets he so seemed to have mastered and into the garden. Dorian is, in those moments, wholly oblivious to the vampire's gaze lingering upon him in search of just such a reaction as the Fae surely supplies in response to plants the likes of which he has never seen. He is perhaps, easily amused and yet in a world such as this he fails to see how he cannot be! Coloured glass, while simple in its design and even its appeal was a veritable wonder to a being whom had spent the better part of his existence without any glass at all. He cannot truly help his desire to touch the creations, his hand paused only long enough to meet his companions gaze, seeking some assurance that it could hardly harm him in any way. The subtle nod of Sebastian's head seeing his fingers extend to caress that polished surface with every bit of gentleness the vampire so assured him was required lest he harm it in some fashion. It is the simplest of gifts with which to present him and yet it is no less appreciated. Nor will it be forgotten in any sense.

This plethora of colour and light and sensation brings a ready grin to the eternally youthful man's features, the silver of his gaze moving to run over the myriad of glass sculptures before falling at last back upon Sebastian himself. The vampire having followed almost dutifully behind him throughout most of the garden. It is all-too-easy to close the distance between them, his arms entwining about the other mans neck as his lips easily find his companions own. He has kissed Sebastian countless times and yet he still relishes that taste and sensation- much less the manner in which Sebastian so effortlessly returned such a gesture. Words, he feels, would have been entirely ineffectual in attempting to describe how very much he did enjoy this impromptu gift- Dorian content to display his appreciation in this manner for several more moments still. It is only within those last few seconds that the Fae King deepens such a kiss ever so slightly, allowing his hands to run upwards and tangle within the dirty blonde of Sebastian's hair- before abruptly pulling back.

"Ah, but we should leave something for next time, no?"

He knows entirely what he does. Indeed he sees little issue with leaving the vampire just a little wanting, the softest of chuckles echoing smoothly from his lips. He knows as surely as the sun will rise that he cannot keep his companion entirely to himself- at least not for tonight. Sebastian would, inevitably, do as he is entirely designed to do and seek his meal in what remained of the darkness. Perhaps too, seek some release in the arms of another from needs Dorian has so purposefully left unfulfilled. He knows, entirely, how it is the vampire functions and indeed for the first time he finds himself almost....dissatisfied at the thought of the man with any others and yet- such was the inevitable. He could hardly deny him his manner of feeding after all. Ah, but how dangerous this infatuation was becoming. Yet still, Dorian hardly finds it within himself to stop himself, it is far too late for some things.

"Come, let us finish seeing this garden and then the rest of the evening is entirely yours."

He would, as always, be entirely forced to leave the vampire with the promise of next time and yet even Dorian cannot deny the pleasures to be had in even the mere thought of that. Indeed, such thoughts are entirely assured to plague his own mind for the rest of the evening. Dorian effortlessly falling into step beside his lover once more.
