East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I'm more alive than I've ever been

It had been some time now since Isolt had last taken a lover, and yet even so the sensation offered by Damon's body is immaculate in its intensity, in its paradox of selfish selflessness. She finds herself as ready and as willing to give all of the pleasure that her body has to offer him as she is too, in turn, to take from him the ecstasy that pours from his sensuous frame.

And take she surely does, the unapologetic selfishness of her movements heralding the reward of a few long moments of blissful, etherreal nirvana made all the more gratifying by the realization that her partner plunges to his own paradise in tandom. It is a crashing wave indeed, a cleansing tide to wash considerations of anything beyond the two of them from her mind for just this brief moment suspended so delicately in time. All that she cares for, all that she sees, is him. This man who had wrought a knotted tapestry of sorrows to span several long months and yet... he could in a matter of moments begin to unravel the tightly woven threads of their romantic misfortune. Truthfully it would take far longer to curtail the emotional distruction of his abrupt departure, but for now Isolt is content to bask in the phantom heat of his body, to relish the feel of his weight upon her and to welcome with marked enthusiasm the delicious ache elicited by the vigor of his lovemaking.

The young woman meets her partner's kiss with every ounce of passion that he exudes, offering a teasing, fangless nibble to the tantilizingly plump cushion of his lower lip before he draws away from her. She laments his departure though willingly and swiftly does she allow herself to be hoisted from the now not-so-pristine desktop. Isolt leans into the broad chest of her companion, even after such boisterous physical release she seems still ravenous for his proximity, his touch. "Oh, um..." she stutters at his jest, surveying the near-ruin of his desk and the surely irrevocable state of the clothing strewn about the office floor. "I don't think I'm ever going to be able to have a meeting in this room again," she finishes with a girlish chortle, bending to pick up Damon's shirt which, as a nod to Isolt's affinity, mends itself within her hands. The auburn-haired woman hesitantly offers the garment to her lover, the azure of her eyes traveling to meet his in a notably somber fashion. "Do we have to go out and face them?"
