East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya had just started returning to the burlesque, taking over from the role she had bestowed upon Sam during her trying time of adjusting not just with living at the Ark but without her children. The weekend visits with them which Aidan was helping facilitate had certainly helped halt the woman in her downward spiral. It was taking time in order to recover from it though and not slip back in during the week. This was the reason she was at the burlesque today. It was easier to get things done when there was no one else around; no routines to oversee, no outfits to mend, and certainly no customers to tend to.

There was never any shortage of paperwork to tend to. Nadya had made her way through payroll before turning to inventory. Sam had taken on the role Nadya had given her, keeping up on it all, but lately she had been...off. It was just another reason why Nadya had decided to take back the burlesque instead of having the fae here doing the paperwork with her. As it was Nadya felt like she was going to get a headache before the dancers even showed up to start rehearsing. She stood in the backroom, noting on the ordering form on the clipboard she held the necessary items. While the burlesque was more of a bar than a restaurant there were still certain things that were available and needed to be kept up on.

The sound of someone calling from the main area caused Nadya to raise a brow. She wasn't expecting anyone and the girls never announced themselves when they traipsed in for their shifts. Nadya tucked the clipboard against her chest as she made her way out from the stock room to the main floor. "Can I help you?" Nadya paused by the bar looking at the primped woman. She hadn't been expecting to be entertaining just yet herself so was as casual as she had ever been wearing jeans, black and green corset top, and converse shoes. "We aren't open until 9 tonight." She really should have remembered to lock the door when she came in but most people knew their hours by now so someone walking in wasn't heard of now.
