East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya would have thought that in a small town with nothing else to do that drinking would have been mostly the only thing to do. It was a bit surprising for the panther to hear that the wolf hadn't succumbed to that stereotypical habit. It was also hard to believe that the girl's personality hadn't gained her many friends though perhaps that was also just due to being in a rural area. Nadya's blood pack had been in a relatively rural area of the Cascade Mountains but their pack had had many members so there had been no shortage of friends.

"Good." Nadya nodded slightly as she shifted, her gaze following Scarlett's to the dancers. She had witnessed the fae's not taking kindly to the new staff so only felt it necessary to warn the friendly girl to mind her step. The dancers ran this place, they brought in the patrons, and for that Nadya gave them a lot of leeway in their behavior. It only mattered that they respected her and didn't harm the others. There were plenty of people outside of the burlesque in which the canine could find friends in. A light chuff of amusement passed from the panther at the sight of Scarlett's little happy dance. "Yes, I dance too. I'll open or close the night and maybe do another number at some point. I don't dance as much as I used to." There were other duties as an owner that kept her occupied. On one hand she missed the stage and the feeling of the music in her chest but the type of dance which sold here and the type of dance that Nadya wanted to introduce were different and had to be done only on occasion.

Those cat's ears twitched atop her head at the mention of shopping. Fashion wasn't just a hobby for Nadya, obviously, but a way of life. Yet how she ended up taking many of her staff out to get clothes was beyond her. How were so many without a few decent outfits? She understood not having clothes for the burlesque business but she could tell from Scarlett's tone that it was more than just that. For a moment Nadya hesitated before nodding, "Ok, shopping it is. Meet me in two hours at a place called La Chambre Rouge, it's on Ninth Avenue between Vine and Lamar street. » Slowly the panther rose from her seated position. « I trust you remember the way out. I have a few things to tend to here. I will see you later.» With that she pivoted away from Scarlett and loped up the nearby stairs that led up to Nadya's office.
