East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

East

There was, sadly, no denying the exhaustion that certainly laced every facet of his form. His life in the past twenty four hours had been chaotic at best, comforted by an array of individuals whom had flittered through out each seemingly breathless gap of time. But now - now that endless day of unpredictable death slowly marched towards a viewable end. Now he was finally being offered a reprieve with the lingering knowledge of work that still had to be done. Now, every meticulous detail had been seen to, every tiny mess had been cleaned, and the prospect of sleep was dizzily welcomed. His rejection of the young woman's offer was rather pathetic at best, the man easy, in his current state, to so win over and soon, before he knew it, Tetradore found himself being led deeper into the depths of the inquisitive tavern. His emerald eyes so followed the woman ahead of him, glancing with a fashion of curiousness as they made their way and soon, before he knew it, Tetradore found himself into a narrow but, none the less, cozy bedroom. The sight of such was entirely pleasant, at least, at first. The man watched in silence as the demure girl stepped forward to turn down the blankets of the bed and yet, he found that his weariness was met only with apprehension.

Although he had done well to conceal it, at least, so he thought, Tetradore himself was hardly immune to those nightmares. The first few weeks of their freedom from the bar he'd been plagued with a myriad of ways in which she had found them all and what she had done with them thereafter. When he first took the Ark for himself and established some sort of home for his 'family', they had resurfaced again - that sound of those heels walking upon that polished wooden floors. Now? Now that her existence was once again so fresh within his mind, Tetradore was entirely certain that he would not be without those frightful dreams tonight either. Regardless, Tetradore approached the edge of that bed, staring at the plushness of those sheets before he glanced back at the auburn haired woman to inquire in a tone that, as much as he tried, failed to entirely hide that hint of uncertainty. He was wholly oblivious to the flutter of her heart at such a decidedly innocent request and yet, Tetradore could hardly deny the relief at her admittance that she would.

Tetradore reached upwards to peel that shirt from him skin, the man entirely unperturbed by Isolt's presence. She had, after all, seen him before in little clothing. Though shifting into mortal skin was altogether rare during that time within the dance club, it had certainly happened before within the woman's presence. Modesty had never been the man's strong point. Regardless, that shirt fell next to the nightstand upon the floor, his fingers made easy work of the button of his jeans before they too were deposited in the same reckless fashion. He hardly bothered to suppress that yawn that crossed his lips as he climbed into the warmth and comfort of those sheets. His emerald eyes briefly met the bright blue of the young vampire's, providing her his hand as she so brushed her fingertips over his skin in a slow comforting circle that reminded him entirely of the efforts Samantha had too attempted earlier that evening. Thankfully, this time was not invasive to the thoughts that so plagued his mind, thoughts that seemed harder to hold onto now that his tasks were finally complete. "I know..." He muttered softly and yet, the man hardly lasted for much longer before he found himself drifting off, his emerald eyes eventually fluttering closed as sleep so viciously overcame him.
