East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Edie couldn't help the smirk on her features as Nadya took in the outfit she was wearing. Her eyes rolled slightly as the other Beta spoke. "Unless you'd like me to walk around naked. I can't very well walk around in the clothes I had, now can I?" She shrugged idly, as though the whole situation was dreadfully boring. And perhaps it was. Perhaps she should have slipped out the window and been on her way home. And yet... even though they were in rival packs and she should be anywhere but here, she couldn't make herself leave. Not yet. Nadya, whether she wanted to admit it or not, belonged to Frost. One day, she would join their pack and God, that would make Nadya her Alpha. She supposed, given the circumstances, it wouldn't be a bad idea to play nice now so that she wouldn't have such a terrible arrangement when Nadya eventually joined the pack. Eugh. Still, she played the part of the mischievous girl well. "You told me you'd teach me to dance. I was holding you to that."

She got up at Nadya's command, following her towards the backstage. Like Nadya, she cast a weary glance at the babies within the playpen. "Don't they have a babysitter or something? I don't know a damn thing about children, but I do know that they don't belong in bars." It wasn't meant as an insult - though she had no doubt that Nadya would take it as one. It was merely meant as a bit of her curiosity. But that curiosity even was replaced by a bit of joy as she was brought to the racks of clothing. "I didn't realize we would get a costume change," She teased as she eyed the clothes that she was expected to wear. Her lip twitched into a smirk at the woman's words. "The difference between you and me is that I enjoy being slutty." She commented, shrugging as Nadya picked out two outfits for her. "The green one."

"I've never worn a corset before," She commented as Nadya stepped behind the rack. The young Were resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the fact that Nadya couldn't change in front of her. They were weres after all. Edie herself had no hesitation about undressing in front of Nadya, and easily she slipped off the clothes to don the corset. "Help me tie it," She commented to Nadya once the other woman was dressed. She reached up to move her long hair out of the way for Nadya to help her dress before she followed Nadya out onto the stage. "I'm not nervous," Edie said with a shrug as she moved. No, Edie was quite used to performing. After all, she'd taken ballet for more years than she could really count - she'd only stopped because Beck wanted her to - and she'd performed a dozen times on a stage. Never... quite like this... but she was sure that she would be successful. How hard could it be?

Edie's eyes followed Nadya as she walked about the stage. Despite the fact that it was only the two of them, Edie certainly felt exposed in the corset in front of Nadya. With the way Nadya had laced it, she was sure that she wasn't getting out of this outfit without Nadya's help - unless she went home to let Kato help her out of it. The idea of that was enough to make her smirk. It was the music and Nadya's voice that snapped her out of that dangerous line of thoughts. Edie nodded as she stood off to the side. "I learn best through watching," She commented, moving to straddle the back of the chair in the same way that Nadya was. "Lead the way."
