East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There had been very few things within his life the man could so ever claim to have wanted with any true passion. His early years, his very upbringing had so been defined by what lay before him that idle dream of anything so frivolous to lust after had failed to occur to him to have. Relationships- or at least his ability to form them, had perhaps suffered the most in those tumultuous years of his upbringing and beneath Hunter hands as a veritable beast of burden and little more. Emotions were nothing but a hindrance. Something he had convinced himself he did not have the time for and in some sense it had surely worked to make him the leader he was. If any amongst those equine had been capable of seeing through a task to the end it had surely been Frost. He was ruthless in his decision, steadfast in his action and hardly inclined to apologise. Decisiveness inspired loyalty in others, strength kept them at his side and intelligence assured none of them were capable of overthrowing him. At least not easily and yet throughout the entirety of his youth he had simply learned to keep others at a distance in turn. Those very quality that saw him rise as the dominant force within those ranks, a favoured among his peers and yet utterly loathed by the Mounted Unit, were the very traits that saw him become so withdrawn from the world at large. He had forgotten what it was to want or to desire. Nadya was a revelation in more ways than one. The very first woman to attract his attention as anything other than yet another being to be used as a means to an end.

What had been a purely physical attraction, however, had hardly lingered. Her slender form, along with the swell and curve of her frame in all the right places so complimented her tanned skin and dark hair. Her look entirely exotic to a man so surrounded by the blondes and whites of his own lineage and those Scandinavian roots. Though it had hardly taken him long to find that prized gem of wit that existed beneath. Her humour appealed to him, even when her words were sharp and short and prompted his own biting response in a verbal battle neither was content to yield too. It was her alpha blood, surely, that resulted in that spirit he found so alluring and yet perhaps it is nature alone that demanded one Alpha find attraction in another of equal rank. He had wanted her from the beginning, for all those reason, even if he had refused to admit to it. Even after she allowed another man to father her children. Offspring hardly a deterrent all the same for the stallion. The better part of his existence surrounded by children both his own and others. Her status as a Mother hardly a disadvantage to his own mind. Even if her own pack so refused to appreciate such things- at least in his own opinion and yet it was her current packs continued dismissal off her that had only seen him become more determined in his own desires to press upon her mind each time he saw her that he could surely offer her more.

That title she seemed to desire fell easily from his lips, that single word holding perhaps more meaning then she truly realised, after all there was not one true word for 'girlfriend' within his culture. More so it was a word so afforded to a chosen person, a specific individual that held the affections of another being alone and without equal. The dearest one. Frost so preferring his own cultures way with words to those lazy American terms though he mentioned little of it now, his lip simply quirking upward in response to her declaration that she liked the sound of it on her. His hands slipped to rest easily upon her waist, that newfound title affording him a moment of boldness outside his nature. After all, if she was so declared to be his then surely he was permitted those more intimate touches? That desire to feel her lips on his own seeing the man pull her gently against him and into that kiss. That taste of her was as sweet as he remembered, her arms wrapping about his neck as her hands tangled into the snowy white of her hair, Frost only deepening that kiss then as his fingers tightened ever so slightly against her, a plethora of urges pressing upon him, the sort he had ignored for years and yet seemed almost demanding now. That kiss afforded him barely a taste, it was hardly enough, the young woman standing upon her toes to press only closer to him and encourage his own wants all the more as his affinity extended so outside his control to pick up upon her thoughts of just how concealing those bushes might be. A part of him was entirely sure within the bushes was hardly good enough for that first time between them and yet too, an equally as potent and more instinctive part of the man was almost inclined to try even as he felt her resolve begin to waver and those morals press upon her. She was going to pull away. He knew it before she did and yet his hands remained on her waist all the same, unwilling to relinquish his hold even if he had to pull away from her lips. The way her tongue moved to moisten them almost maddening to the normally composed man as a sigh forced its way from his lips all the same at her mention she should be going. One hand shifted lightly, a single finger resting beneath her chin, tilting her head up towards him before offering those cool, soft words.

"Your words say one thing, Naja, your thoughts entirely another. I hope, one day, you will let me appreciate you properly."

There was a tease to those words all the same, even though he surely meant them, his desire for her etched within those tones though for now, as she desired, he allowed his hold upon her to listen, stepping back and away to afford her that space even if his mind was inclined to wonder at what existed beneath those layers of clothing. Her request to walk her home is met with a simple nod, one hand extended to take her own, letting his finger lace with her own in a gesture both protective and a touch possessive in turn, such a gesture distinctly rare for the snowy-haired man and yet without anyone to see her allowed those walls to lower, if only slightly. His violet gaze touching her own before he moved to lead her back towards her shoes.

"Come then, I'll take you home."

The damage was surely already done in regards to her 'home', things between Tetradore and himself soured too much to ever find harmony even for Nadya's own happiness. Her 'family' destined to disapprove of him he was sure and yet Frost was hardly unused to being 'disapproved' off. She could do better then them, of that he was sure. Those thoughts pushed from his mind for now in the least, the man content to enjoy what remained of that evening.
