East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian Ellingtonfor pleasure seldom has a cure

Sebastian almost despised the loss of that sanctuary she had so gifted him with. It made him yearn for his own childhood home, even if he was doomed to merely live within those memories of what it had once been like under the light of day. That English Estate was still breathtaking under the luminosity of that cold pale moon, and yet, it somehow seemed less alive to him. Though, perhaps it was merely his own undead perspective that so tainted those old stones. Those illusions, however, could hardly last forever and soon enough they ebbed away to reveal that grimey cobblestone covered in blood and unmoving corpses that he so desired to simply forget. His lips pressed together ever so slightly at the sight of them, though he truly hardly lingered long upon the sight that marred that alleyway and all that had been done here. After all, he was hardly oblivious to the wounds that had been inflicted upon that woman whom had saved him. He owed her far more than he could ever truly pay her back for. Assisting in the removal of that dagger was the very least the man could do. Sebastian shifted closer towards her, entirely inattentive to the way that shirt hung loosely around his frame to reveal those chiseled plains of his chest, coated with his very own blood.

He was perhaps only vaguely aware of her lingering eyes as he leaned forward, the vampire hardly hesitating as he pressed his lips against hers. That sheer closeness of their figures felt entirely natural for the Englishman. Truly, it wasn't all that peculiar. Afterall, Sebastian was more akin to an incubus by nature, often engaging in those touches of affection in an effort to gain his meal, regardless of who the other individual was. However, there was something decidedly more intimate about kissing her, just as it was when his lips brushed against the fae King's own, even if she hardly invoked quite the same feelings within him that Dorian so effortlessly did. His lips pressed against her's in a fashion entirely tender, the man wholly aware of the fashion in which her tongue so eagerly explored his mouth and brushed across his lips. He hardly fought her, however, instead reaching around her lithe frame to grasp that dagger and pluck it from her back. He tossed that silver blade onto the far corners of the alleyway before, slowly, the vampire pulled away from that young woman before him. He could feel her fingers upon him, the female entirely reluctant to release him and yet, it prompted little more than a reassuring simper upon his features, even though his thoughts so turned towards his lover in the wake of that kiss.

Sebastian knew just how carefully he walked that line of infidelity with the woman in front of him. Although he had little intention of prompting their encounter to expand into the bedroom, he knew well that it was those very feelings in his chest that would perhaps destroy the man he loved far more than any physical touch. They were feelings, he kept reminding himself, that he had created. The vampire leaned slowly away from her, offering her a word of heartfelt gratitude at all the assistance she had provided him - at another chance for life. He was well aware of that look of consideration that crossed her pristine, angled features, the woman clearly contemplating something before she commented softly that she could hardly let him die to the hands of those Italian men. A soft simper of amusement crossed his features, and yet, the Englishman hardly took any offense to her certainty of his ineptitude. "I dislike killing." He admitted simply, knowing well that those morals would have likely caused his demise had he not found her - someone to dirty their hands upon his account. It was perhaps much the same as taking their lives himself and yet, he truly tried not to dwell upon it in any great detail.

That insistence that she certainly would have done so again if prompted caused another twitch of his lips, his hand gingerly reaching out to caress her cheek. "I know you would have, love." Sebastian responded, as if trying to reassure her he had little doubts of her loyalty to him. Slowly, the vampire rose to his feet, following the suit of the young woman as his gaze swept over the grisly scene that so surrounded them. Unlike her, he found little joy in this, knowing well he likely should tell the Monarch of what had occurred here. His thoughts were momentarily predisposed, at least, until her fingers gripped his own pale hand, prompting his bright blue irises to shift towards her own. Those hushed lyrics drew a hint of surprise upon his features, though, it was perhaps unwarranted. He had twisted the very fabric of fate for his own selfish needs, it was hardly a subtle gesture and surely those feelings that had hit her like such a tidal wave could not go overlooked. With a sigh, his head nodded, even though she remained unaware of the true extent he had so manipulated her. "You're right." He muttered, his brightly hued gaze turned towards the floor as he so considered what words might provide her with a fabric of the truth whilst not setting him within her sights for retribution. "I have...but now it's time to go back." There was a certain resoluteness within his accented words, even as his gaze turned towards that crimson thread that so bound them together. His fingers touched that invisible satin ribbon, letting it disintegrate slowly as he felt that rush of heartache in his chest. It was the feeling of losing someone and how it hurt in ways that could not be described or soothed. It was only once that touch of his affinity no longer existed between the pair that the vampire hesitantly stepped away from her, offering a slight bow that had so originated from his own era when leaving the presence of a lady. "I fear I must go home. But I wish you all the best, darling. Thank you, again..." They were the last words he left her with before the man vanished into the night like the very ghost he should have been.
