East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

we were born with nothing
well we sure as hell have nothing now

The were sovereign was fully aware of the sheer magnitude of that which he was so wordlessly requesting of the demure doll. It was not just his presence he so thrusted upon her but that silence he near demanded, even from those souls that he held so desperately dear. He wished her to keep his existence a secret not only from them but any who so lingered within the confines of that tavern she had worked so tirelessly to build. He knew well the risk he had placed upon her just as he so placed his very life within her slender fingertips. In truth, she certainly deserved far better than those happenstance he'd placed upon her. He could hardly fault her if she so saw fit to hand him to that very man who'd so seen to his demise - after all, would such not be a just twist of circumstance when he had bequeathed upon her the same fate? Though that thought had lingered all the same, he knew the girl's heart was the very personification of purity, the man hardly surprised by that shift within her features as those lips pressed into a hard line of conviction. Those once furrowed brows rose ever so slightly, that sheer promise of violence alone so managed to astonish the near King of bloodshed. That she would go through such lengths on his account was...astounding, to say the least.

His emerald eyes trailed over her petite figure as she disentangled from his own bare caramel flesh, his grip upon her slender figure released as she rose to approach that bed she'd once allowed him to utilize, that full comforter so clutched within her fingertips, sliding off the bed with those pillows shifting in the wake of it's absence. Tetradore allowed the young woman to drape that soft material around his bare shoulders, the man altogether inclined to clutch that duvet closer towards his bare frame, that gentle touch of that cotton material somehow comforting against his warm, exhausted body. His head bobbed ever so slightly in the wake of those practical words she so offered him. "Thank you, Isolt." Tetradore offered with a marked measure of genuine appreciation. A weak simper fluttered across his features in the wake of that brilliant simper that so danced across those soft sweetheart lips. His eyelashes fluttered closed ever so briefly as the young woman leaned forward, those lips pursed to press gently against his forehead in an altogether affection gesture that he was unlikely to forget anytime soon. It was a shame, truly, that the woman had so devoted herself to another - even now, in the wake of everything he found her beauty breathtaking and her loyalty certainly inspiring. She was, perhaps, the only soul in the entirety of that metropolis that Tetradore truly found he so inexplicably trusted.
