East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Deafening parade of duplicity;

We're all rotten, buried and forgotten,

Living it up underground

The mad man danced a rather fine line with her, a razor edge line that could lead either one into the depths of lunacy. She was just holding on by a thread, clinging onto her sanity which was in the shape of her roaring rage that threatens to devour the duo like that storm overhead was.

Harley could not help but wonder 'how did she wind up here?' With his mouth to her neck, those ominous fangs pricked her skin to draw forth little rubies at their opening as though to keep that pressure building within her. She hated how she craved it, that she wanted his bite more than anything in that very moment. What a pretty little fool she was, falling right back into a habit that would no doubt consume what was left of that already tarnished soul. It was just a prick of his fangs but it was just enough to spike through her body like the very lightening that stretched across the dark grey sky, it ran right through her very nervous system. It wasn't enough venom to make her fall into that sensual lull those bites were capable of, but it was like a tease to her anticipating senses like the smallest taste he stole from her. She should have fought, bucked against him, kicked him anywhere she could land, by any means necessary to put distance between her the unforgiving cold beast she craved.

Harley was so sick and tired of being the butt of such a cosmic joke; it was enough to remind herself of that hot singing rage that pulses within her. Oh, how she hated that she was trapped inside the cage of a sadistic man that didn't give a fuck. He had single handed destroyed everything that she could have been, snuffing the flame out of anything that was once innocent within her. She could feel herself being swallowed whole by him, as though the raging sound of the storm and the pelting of rain did not exist despite her clothing sopping wet with water and her hair just as saturated. Her fierce heart was drowning just as much as she was but there is nothing more dangerous than a drowning person.

That devious sound escapes him and she didn't know what the fuck he was chucking at, she wasn't even aware of what her own body was doing, let alone the fact that she trembled against his massive form. His icy breath crawls upon her slick skin of her neck and she frowns. "You're just fucking with me on purpose." She hisses, clawing her way back to control. Didn't he fuck with her enough? He didn't even respond to her very words that she uttered! He was lost in some sadistic reverie she wanted no part of. Any sane person would have responded, but he was not sane, was he? But she knew he heard her, he did stop his assault after all. She was not his toy to play with anymore. She was different now, she was more. She was a raging force that shouldn't be trifled with. If only he could see what monstrous deeds she did to Ryker's men, to Ryker even! A glimpse of danger flashes wildly within those amethyst gemstone eyes, they hardened like her very heart had. He better keep that damn chisel far, far away from that heart that he had been turned to stone.

How tense she grows beneath his suffocating presence that it could no doubt be seen in the taut tendons of her neck as she tried to move her head so that her neck was no longer so vulnerable to him. Oh, how she squirms to create more space between the confined closeness of these two bodies and yet there is no yield. It was as though he wanted to watch her cave. Well, that sure as hell wasn't going to happen, not over her dead body.

Only when he pulls away, she felt like she was so close to freedom and breath could once again fill her aching lungs. She could just barely draw forth a breath before his lips assaulted her own fiercely. For but a second she is stunned, her eyes snap shut by habit more than anything else. The raven haired woman remembered how she could become undone by this mouth and wondered how it could still feel so oddly familiar to her even after all that time that escaped them. She was lost in the cyclone he assaulted her with, her heart that once felt so strong threatened as though it would simply give out. Oh, how she parts her mouth as though she welcomed him home. But then as she felt his tongue take what he wanted she could not contain that fury that wound up so wickedly within her. She clamps down with intolerant teeth, enough to draw blood hoping to show him that she is not entirely defenceless. Harley had teeth too. She pushed at him with all the force she possibly could. "I don't know what the fuck you are on to think I would let you kiss me." Her rage echoed like wildfire in her challenge, the cold of the rain draining her body heat. She wanted to hit him so hard but that closeness made it near impossible to get a good swing in.

She nearly rips his shirt within her still tangled grasp. "This here, was not a moment, you betrayed me, Amor. Why would I give you anything that you wanted? You are sick." But he was just her brand of sick and she was infected. Her eyes narrow darkly, her lashes dripping from the rain water that is more unrelenting than even the wild spitfire. As though the lightening set her words on fire, it hit a nearby electrical pole. It sizzled with blue electricity, the light of the lights overhead unceremoniously went out as though they were swallowed in the same darkness that lived in her. The resonating sound left her very ears ringing and made her flinch. "I don't know what's going to kill me first, this storm or you." Payback was long overdue, but denying that man of anything he could possibly want was certainly a start.
