East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It had been hell, living with her Mentor; it was all hours of the day doing nothing but training. Even when she knew what she needed to. He continued to teach her the same things over and over again until it became bland and boring. Making her angry at night when he would bother her out of the blue, make her get dressed, go to the gym and train all day, every day, sometimes even until the next day. She hardly got a break. He'd become completely insane; thinking others were after him. Which they were. Just not as much as he thought. She didn't know what had happened to him, he was good at first; sane at first. Taught her new things every week once she'd recovered from her transition and her sickness that had nearly left her dead. She uprooted her life to live with her mentor; learn things from him and do what he asked of her. She owed him her life after all. But as he started to go downhill, she felt trapped and like she needed to get out; which was what brought her here. Isi couldn't stand feeling trapped, couldn't stand not being able to do what she wanted when she wanted; that was something that had followed her after her transition.

The small lass listened to what he had to say; she knew it was a large city by all she had seen when she rode in on her motorcycle. However, she could sense overwhelming amount of other species; humans included. Isi couldn't understand living as a Hunter and not acknowledging that they were a Hunter, completely ignoring their way of life. The black haired lass also couldn't fathom Hunting as you pleased. There had to be something behind it, some reason behind why you were hunting whatever it was. The council keeps the peace? Orders those who work for them to kill off whatever is causing trouble? Seemed like it worked so far. Call me Isi if you will, Azrael. she nodded as she reached her hand out after him, gripping his and shaking. After he had put his hand back, she let hers fall back onto her helmet in her lap before speaking again I don't see the want to hunt alone let alone ignore your way of life completely. her voice came very soft, hardly recognizable of what she was saying over the busy bar. She had said it anyhow though.

The man's last question is what caught her attention the most. Young? She wasn't that young. Maybe younger than him but she wasn't a new hunter. Instead of answering right away she stared for a moment. Should she stay on the topic of mentors? Should she just mention a little bit of it and then move on to another subject? That's exactly what she'd do. Then she would hope he wouldn't notice her rushing to change subject. Uh... my maker taught me that there was a way of going about being a Hunter; but he never mentioned a council, rogue hunters or hunters that denied themselves altogether. she hurried it along to speak as soon as she finished speaking. What does it take to join the council, Azrael? her curiosity of the subject she had changed to coming into play as she looked at him with her bright piercing blue eyes. Shifting in her seat to lean forward some as if to hear him better.
