East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The change and shift within the Hunters features are so readily observed by the ever-watchful cat, body language far more readily comprehended by the animalistic boy then the spoken word, humanity and animal-instinct seeming to wage a continued war within the lanky deviant. He has spent so long as a beast, precious little of his existence lived within his human skin and as such he is given perhaps to engage with the Leopard far more than the man within, those chocolate- hued eyes flick with every subtle lift and pull of the Hunter's features, so readily reading what remains unsaid, seeming to find some fragment of amusement as the other man offers the barest hint of his own. That lean, lanky frame relaxes slightly in these moments and though he remains still out of reach, not near foolish enough to place himself within touching range of the silver-studded fellow it is clear he has become more tolerable, perhaps, of his presence. While a threat, perhaps, the other man offers no threatening gestures in these moments and as such the wild-eyed boy is content to offer no menace of his own, continuing to recline against his pile of boxes as the steel ring is haphazardly flicked towards him. He moves quickly to snatch it from the air, evident delight lining his youthful features as he grasps this newest treasure, the ring held firmly within his hands as if he fears it may attempt some escape.

"Ooooooh.....toothless."

He simply repeats the word, enjoying the sound of it, committing it to memory, his own vocabulary so strikingly lacking as he rolls the word upon his tongue, carefully holding the steel ring up towards the faint light of the moon and street lamps, the silvery flash seeming to delight him all the more, purr or sorts rasped over his human throat. He likes this man, he thinks, lacks his usual desire for violence in his presence, lips parting to speak once more when the arrival of the hulking, giant wolf sees his attention deviate. Her words vibrate against his mind, features contorted into a frown of sorts, some taint of confusion seeming to reflect within those fathomless dark pools as he looks from the Hunter to the wolf and back again, frowning once more at the brief exchange that occurs between the two, displeased, perhaps, that the woman has angered the flame-wielding man Tobias has decided to like. He reaches to snatch up the jeans she has dumped behind him, the denim held momentarily to his nose before he abruptly pulls away with a derisive snort.

"These...are....Az-Ray-Els."

The name of the owner of the jeans is a clear struggle for the young man, each syllable pushed with force between his lips, clearly displeased with the jeans he has been offered, pulling them on all the same before focusing his attention upon the towering, growling wolf entirely. Canine or not he is surprisingly tolerable of the girl, having become accustomed to her presence, much of his time spent in the company of her own, many nights spent with her in his bed on the rare occasion he is free of the prison of Syn, at liberty to roam the West side- his own personal territory, the boy the dominant Were within that neighbourhood despite his....kitty-pet status behind the doors of Syn. He has come to accept Birdie, allowed her to live within the West side, to be in the company of himself and his pack and as such his hand reaches for her now. Long fingers knot within her thick, luxuriant fur, stroking the side of her neck absentmindedly in a clear gesture of acceptance- a gesture followed near immediately by a clear sign of his dominance over her, the female beneath him as all save Tetradore are. He gestures loosely to the wolf now.

"This is....Birdie....she talks to much...because...she is a girl...she is mine."

Dark eyes cut briefly back towards the hunter, assuring himself the man understands just who the wolf belongs to, the boy a dangerously possessive creature when he should choose. He moves to stand suddenly, graceful and easy as he does, abruptly swinging one long leg over the wolf, settling himself on her back as if she is nothing more than his own personal steed, moving to shimmy up until he rests his elbows atop her furry head, the rest of his long body stretched out atop her neck and shoulders, one leg folding over the other as he makes himself entirely and bizarrely comfortable like a child atop a couch before the fire crackling into the air sees his eyes widen, the space around his own lean form rapidly growing thicker, his own power beginning to answer his call, the boy rapidly perceiving a threat to himself and his...possession. Though what this power might have been remains unknown, dissipated as the fire forms the shape of a leopard, the desire to attack replaced rapidly with a clear playfulness as his hands clap together once more, hand reaching to gently pull one of Birdie's ears back to himself, his whisper far louder than a whisper should be.

"He does...tricks."

A snicker of sorts hisses free from his lips as he continues to recline atop his wolf, content to use the girl as his own personal throne- at least for now, dark eyes returned to the hunter, the steel ring rolled about between his fingers still, free hand teasing the thick fur of Birdie's ear in a gesture both gentle and yet decidedly possessive and....dominant in nature.

"You are very....pretty and shiny....I want to keep you."

His head tilts slightly now as he looks upon the other man, wild dark hair falling into his gaze once more as he grins. That Tetra may not want a Hunter as a pet has clearly not occurred to him.

"Do you want to...play a game with me...and maybe with...Birdie? She will...be good and I will not...even bite off...your arm."

How generous of him.
