East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

"It's A Beautiful Morning!"

East

Piercing sunlight shined through the light blue curtains of his bedroom window. It was a pleasant feeling for Killian; Waking to the warmth of the sun's rays greeting him. "Alright, I'm awake ya old man."
Killian said in a groggy tone of voice, as he would stretch out and let his bare arms feel the pleasant rays.
Sitting up from his original position, he lifted the fluffy white pillow from under him and put it back against his headboard.

Eyes still heavy with sleep, he kept blinking his eyes: The greens of his orbs shimmering like emeralds under the perfect light.
As he stretched ou even more, he picked up his phone from the nightstand next to his bed, and lifted it to his line of sight. As the heaviness faded from his eyelids, he turned on the screen and looked deeply at the home screen image.
"Hey Mum. Hey Dad. It's another day. But it's not just any ol' one I tell ya."
Killian would say, as he looked at the photo of himself in between his late mother and father.

After the events that had transpired one year ago, in his home country of Ireland, Killian kept the last remaining photograph he had taken with his parents.
As Killian peered at the photograph, a small droplet formed in the corner of his eye.
"Man.. Haven't felt tha' in a long time, eh Killian?"
He said to himself, chuckling as he turned his phone screen off and would wipe his eye free of the tear.
Coming to the decision that it was time for him to get a move on, he rolled himself from his comfortable sheets, and he felt the entire warmth of the sun on his body.

Killian was found of sleeping in just underwear, not just for his own comfort, but because anyone wanting to break in wouldn't want to see a half naked man.
As he stood from his comfortable cocoon of sheets and blankets, he fluffed his pillows and would adjust his sheets and blankets until they were all symmetrically appealing to his eyes.

"Now tha' looks good to me eyes."
Killian said with a sense of pride in his voice, as smiled and would the walk to his dresser and opened the oak stained drawers.
The first drawer he opened had several pairs of pants laid out perfectly â€" No dresses or bumps. It was like they were ironed into place. Killian always liked his belongings to orderly and neat.
He carefully pulled out a black pair of jeans and set them on the top of the drawer.

Killian, like in his home, also liked his clothing to be orderly and appealing. It was just how he was, and it would never change. After closing the jean drawer, he leaned down and opened a second drawer. This drawer had an assortment of nicely folded shirts. The faded blue one popped to him the most. He pulled it and set it by his jeans on the top of the dresser.
Smiling happily after pulling some dark socks from his very last drawer, Killian dressed himself and was ready for the day.

Killian walked out of his bedroom and into his comfortable living room. His living room seemed to resemble a rustic cottage, and his kitchen looked like a tiny pub; Small comforts that reminded him of Ireland.
Taking one more look at a photograph of his late parents on the nightstand by his door, he lifted it and softly pressed his lips to the glass.
"I'll make ya both proud.. I promise, on me heart."
He said softly as he took a heavy sigh and set the photo down, and exited his comfortable apartment. Killian, was ready to set off on an adventure.
