East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras is rather delighted when Dorian accepts the invitation of an evening meal, though he very much would like to throw a party for the soon to be wedded couple, the Fae doubted this modern world would be accustomed to such... extravagant events. Still, Andras gives a nod at the acceptance. At the very least, the man could show Dorian and Sebastian the lodge that he kept hidden away from the view of public. It would be a perfect place to have a meal and there would be no fear of nosy photographers. "I look forward to arranging a meal," Andras responds with a small smile adorning his midnight lips.

As their conversation shifts once more, the Fae blinks at Dorian's joke, almost surprised that the King had any sense of humor. Releasing a dark chuckle at the comment, he shakes his head in amusement, "Ah, you have the right idea my friend. Perhaps I should search for a man to share my bed with me," he chortles again, amusement dancing in those hazel eyes. Of course, it wasn't unheard of to see Andras taking a man to bed, he merely preferred woman. Though, 1500 years was a long time, it would be unwise not to experiment.

After Andras offers a place for Sebastian and Dorian, he gives a dip of his head in return. It was the least he could do. The man never had to deal with photographers or interviewers himself as he hid himself the last several centuries. A Fae court was much less likely to draw attention than a King of a country. Not that he minded, the man enjoyed keeping to himself and looking after his fellow brothers and sisters. He was not the one to fluff the press. The thought of it has Andras mentally scowling; how the modern world had changed.

"I'm pleased to hear of your acceptance. Whenever you're ready, seek me out and I can lead you there. I can assure you, no one can get in without my permission, including your nosy photographers," he ensures the man, confident in his abilities to keep the place hidden from site. As of now, Dorian was the only one aware of it besides himself. His pitiful small court would all have access to it one day, yet he still struggled to convince his fellow race to join him, in an attempt to guard each other's backs and stay safe.

The beginnings of goodbye of Dorian's lips causes the Lord to be drawn out of his depressing thoughts, allowing a smile to adorn his features once more. Taking the address and number Dorian so provided him, he gives it a quick glance prior to pocketing it. Nodding his head to the King, "I look forward to our next meeting and I shall remain hopeful that your father can provide me with some information. In the meantime, I will work on preparing a meal, though it may not be extravagant, I would like to share my home with you and meet your betrothed," Andras grins.

"Please give my congratulations to your fiancée and that I look forward to meeting him. It was indeed a pleasure seeing you again Dorian," he agrees before turning on a heel and wandering off. Allowing the small smile fall from his lips, he pulls his brows in, in contemplation. His meeting was fruitful, surprisingly, he hadn't expected to meet Dorian so early on in his stay in Sacrosanct. Yet, the Fae was grateful he expanded his court by one and now had new leads on the slaughter of his court. Andras very much looked forward to meeting Matteo.
