East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She couldn't deny the butterflies taking up residence in her stomach over the thought of finally having a pack to call her own. She was no longer a loner. She was finally accepted. And it felt good. He seemed almost surprised that she would tell him she understood why he didn't reach out to her with open arms from the beginning. She could see how others would misunderstand. She had showed up with Frost when he tossed Raven's beaten body to Tetradore. She had left with him after the attack on the docks. Why wouldn't someone think she was with him? Tetradore didn't know what Frost had done to manipulate her and he wouldn't have reason to believe her if she tried to tell him. But it was in the past now and she could start afresh.

She nodded when he thanked her, smiling cause she knew no words were needed this time. She teased him about bolting herself to the floor and he seemed to feel amusement from it, chuckling and saying it wouldn't be an issue. Then he told her he was expecting her for dinner and that he wouldn't tell Raven. She was excited to have a secret, to be able to surprise her best friend with such good news. She grinned at him in thanks. "Yes, definitely. Can't wait." With that, she waved farewell and turned to walk off, leaving him to finish his errands.
