East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
DUCKY DUCK! She couldn't even IMAGINE how yummy duck must taste! Even though she wanted to be friends with those duckies over there in the pond. Those duckies weren't for eating. But different duckies might be okay to eat. Briefly, she couldn't help but to wonder if they tasted like chicken too. People always said like....everything tasted like chicken. Even things that didn't taste like chicken somehow tasted like chicken. Abigail was alllll too quick to jump upon this idea, even declaring a time and date if only because she knew well that waiting for 'someday' often meant 'never'. Her head bobbed eagerly as Oliver declared that next week should be fine, which, frankly, she was glad because weekdays were often like super duper busy with school and stuff. Okay, okay, maybe she wasn't THAT busy. She was...handling things....but college did get in the way of her free lunchtime. Those thoughts of lunch and duckies, however, were pulled from the forefront of her thoughts as Oliver suggested that, perhaps, it was time the pair were capable of contacting each other besides Abigail's super duper sniffer nose. "Oh, okay." The young girl commented as she reached for her bag, fishing out that phone from deep within its fabric pocket. She unlocked it with distinct ease, her fingers navigating towards that contact list before she handed to phone over towards Oliver. "Here! You can put in your phone number and then I can call it so you have mine too!" It seemed, as far as Abigail was concerned, rather ingenious.

It was only once she had successfully exchanged phone numbers with Oliver that her attention turned towards that super duper yummy fishie. Admittedly, her own tummy had kind of started to growl too as she pulled out her own little box of lunch. Unlike her companion, Abigail was far less ravenous, the girl easily prattling on as she overlooked that fish dish in front of her. Frankly, she was thrilled at the idea of her bestie coming to visit HER at her work! After all, his was all super duper stuffy, though he seemed WAY more important at his job then she was at hers. Maybe one day she'd have this super cool office with all sorts of neat sciencey things and Oliver could come to visit her THERE and be just as much in awe as she was of HIS office! Wouldn't that be neat?! Nevertheless, Abigail beamed at him at the very glimpse of that rare simper on his features as he accepted that invitation, even if it sort of kind of came without a day when he might come visit. Still, she supposed surprise visits were kind of nice too! Abigail, on the other hand, was all too keen to take her time with her lunch, nibbling with the delicacy of her own gender and yet, she was hardly perturbed by the starving bear's large mouthfuls. He DID look super duper hungry and she was happy just to satisfy him. Unfortunately, those more cheerful topics teetered off as Oliver finally inquired after the reason Abigail had put together this whole lunch at the very beginning - the pack.

The very word seemed to make him pause, a fact which even Abigail wasn't oblivious to. Uh oh. That face he made! Were packs really that bad?! Frost and Malia didn't seem all that bad, even if she still wasn't sure about Hurricane woman and her kids and traveler girl. Though, traveler girl gave her chocolate so that was kind of nice too. Oliver's sudden inquiry of her experience with packs in her past, however, caused her to mention her own family and just how isolated the trio of were's had been so far up in the mountains on foreign soil - not that Abigail had disliked it in any sense. A pack with just them had been....easy. She didn't have to worry about scary people and those MASKS that Alexis had once warned her about. Oh dear, what if this was what she had been talking about this whole time?! It was that sigh upon Oliver's lips, however, that drew her thoughts from her own internal conundrums as the man tried to impress upon her just how...troubling of a situation she'd found herself into. Admittedly, even Abigail knew she didn't know TOO much about the small group she had met but she was CERTAIN that they would let her leave and would KIDNAP her like...like a PRINCESS or something! After all, they had let her leave after their dinner...though she couldn't imagine giving up her family home to live in THAT crazy house. It was just...too much....muchliness.

Abigail's head bobbed eagerly in agreement that, truly, she couldn't judge anyone after just ONE meeting, certainly not to say that they were all bad. However, that inquiry of the young woman being pressured prompted her head to shake from side to side in perhaps just as enthusiastic of a fashion. "No, they're not. I just.....I don't like not giving them an answer." She admitted. Really, she had been asked all of once but KNOWING the offer was there, lingering....it was like a thing on her mental to-do list that she NEEDED to check off. Even so, Abigail was all too quick to inform Oliver of absolutely EVERYTHING she knew of that pack, from the people who were in it to the very man who ran it - though she kind of, sort of, didn't exacccttlyy have the answers that he was seeking. She'd kind of forgotten what Malia had said Frost was, if she had said at all. But she DID remember that he wasn't a big scary predator! He was kind of like her! Although she supposed she did eat fish so maybe even SHE was above him! Wasn't that something to consider! It was Oliver's inquiry upon what sort of animal that Frost seemed most like of the list of options she'd provided him, however, that prompted a very audible sound of thought upon her lips. "Hmmm...." Her finger rose to her mouth, tapping upon her lips in consideration before Abigail announced several moments later. "I bet he's a moose! Or an elephant....no, probably a moose! He had a big presence." Apparently, even decisions such as this were hard for her.

Either way, Abigail knew well that Frost had been a prey animal like...well, sort of like her. Oliver was so big and floofy with SO many teeth that she was equally as certain that her bestest best friend was capable of nomming the white-haired man she'd met, even if, maybe, she shouldn't quite think of friends in their capabilities to eat or be eaten. Oliver, however, seemed unconvinced of his ability to consume a whole elephant and yet, the very depths of the man's contemplation prompted a grin to the girl's sunlit features. She hardly seemed perturbed in the slightest as Oliver threatened to eat the man she'd met but days prior. Her head bobbed, the woman simply accepting this acceptable terms though she knew well it would hardly come to that. After all, Oliver REALLY wasn't being serious. It was, however, another moment of ingenuity upon Abigail's part that sudden saw her invite her companion to meet him! After all, this was a great way for Oliver to do his research and ask his questions! Wasn't it? Oliver's inquiry of whether or not this was to meet Frost or eat him, however, prompted a ready giggle upon her lips, the girl amused even despite his perhaps vain efforts to jest. At least, she found him funny.

The energetic young woman quite abruptly hesitated, however, at Oliver's inquiry of whether or not Frost was anticipating their arrival. That was....kind of....something...she'd sort of....forgotten. Oops. For a moment she considered just how she might alert him to their impending visit without just...dropping in and yet, she didn't know HIS phone number...or....well...anything really, except where he lived. Oh well. "Ummm...no." She admitted with a small glimpse of guilt upon her features. "But I don't have his phone number so I can't call him to tell him that we're coming...hm...it's a surprise test! Yeah! If he doesn't like surprise visits then he'd be a really bad Alpha for me! Right?!" It seemed sensible, at least, as far as Abigail was concerned. If he was THAT upset about it then that was a good way to tell he had one of Alexis' mask thingies, right?! She beamed, rather pleased with herself and her deductions, after all, Oliver had said she had to be careful, right?!?! She watched as he seemed to consider it, only to give into the young girl's whims. "YAY!" She exclaimed, clasping her hands in front of her. She had known Oliver would have all the answers on what to do! "Hurry up and finish your fishie! We have a moose to find!" How delighted she was to have a friend to go on such an adventure with, the girl easily finding a newfound purpose to each scoopful of fishie. With Oliver at her side, she wouldn't make a wrong choice, she was sure of it.
