East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There was no denying the intense chemical attraction between the pair, even without Sebastian's own coaxing. It was the presence of a nearly palpable static between the air, the pair gravitating around one another in such a fashion that even the Incubus was wholly caught off guard. He attempted, in some fashion, to keep some level of distance between the pair, that promise he'd made at the alter still present upon his thoughts with each vibration of Dorian's heartbeat upon his finger, thanks to that truly unique ring he wore. Unfortunately for him, Carolina hardly seemed as inclined to allow the space as the young woman all but curled up within his lap, her head placed against the firmness of his chest. The very heat of her frame all but seemed to radiate from the girl, coaxing the vampire to, for now, allow her to linger as his frigid skin all but soaked up the female's naturally high temperature. How he so relished in that glimpse to feel alive - the very liquor that filled his own veins from that drink in his glass and her already laced her blood had left Sebastian in an almost blissful haze, the very kind that was nothing short of dangerous for the married man was inhibitions so wavered. A part of him was attentive enough to know that another drink for the pair was likely not the most astute choice he could have made and yet, he was all inclined to give in to her desires.

Those Italian words upon his lips were enough to prompt one of his bodyguards into movement, despite those glimpses of displeasure that had but moments ago been subtly present within their faces. The very sound of that foreign lit upon his lips had, apparently, been nothing short of appealing for the petite blonde as her hazel hue irises stared at him such such intensity. Sebastian had been all too willing to oblige her request, even though the man knew well those Italian words would surely be lost upon her. He watched as her gaze fluttered close, her cheek pressing into the softened palm of his hand and yet, in the dimness of that dark bar, there was a certain intimacy to those breathy words she whispered. A soft, low chuckle left Sebastian's lips as he listened to that purr of her soprano voice. He could hardly help the almost sly grin upon his features before, slowly, the vampire merely nodded in agreement. "Words so often fail to express what the body feels." He murmured entirely purposeful in that subtle innuendo. Although Sebastian had no intention of acting upon those desires, he had little difficulty in expressing his own awareness of that very lust that seemed to swirl so intoxicatingly between them. Even so, that undeniable attraction was, momentarily, placed on hold as the female nestled against him so inquired after the taste of her own blood.

It was rare when those victims to his bite saw fit to inquire after their taste and yet, after a brief glimpse of consideration, Sebastian was more than inclined to offer her that sweet comparison. She seemed nothing more than elated that he found her so....succulent though the pair's attention hardly lingered long as his bodyguard returned with drinks in hand. It was with but a vague word of thanks that Sebastian reached for his drink, all too aware of the shift of Carolina's figure within his lap as she reached for her own drink before wiggling back into his arms. He shifted ever so slightly, the very closeness of her body so easily calling to the incubus within him though he brought that liquor to his lips rather than dwelling upon her form. It was only after he swallowed that biting drink that Sebastian insisted that, surely, it was time to see Carolina return home. After all, the hour was getting late and Sebastian himself greatly desired to return to his own estate well before the rise of the sun. He was hardly prepared for that subtle suggestion that Carolina, perhaps, had nowhere to go. The vampire's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly, a part of the man equally as aware of that slur to her words and yet that feminine giggle only furthered his own confusion. Nevertheless, the vampire hardly missed a beat as his fingers reached out to caress her cheek, guiding her gaze back up towards him. "I'd happily steal your heart, Carolina." He uttered, even if those husky tones held some vague hint of a jest, "...but I do need to make sure you have somewhere safe to spend the evening before the sun rises, love. I fear I am on a slight...time limit." A small simper brushed across his features, even as that very effects of that alcohol made it so terribly easy to merely stay.
