East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

We were chasing the thunder inside the storm;

There was a warmth that the wedding had made her feel, happy to watch two unique people blissfully in love commit themselves to one another. She watched the duo knowing very well that her lips had certainly curled oh so slightly in that way of contentment. The occasion was rather joyous one after all, everyone enjoying themselves as they watched that ceremony unfold. Mira could hardly help but let her vivid golden gaze drift toward Tetradore who stood at the front with the rest of the wedding party. It was a rarity to see him in a suit, but not the first. He certainly cleaned up well even though she wondered if he secretly enjoyed dressing up. The wedding party seemed terribly busy, but happy. It was nice to see Raven and Tobias so happy.

After the ceremony, she was amused by the bustle and the massive amounts of photographs, one festivity rushing into the next one. Weddings were hectic, everyone pulled every which way. She was approached with idle chitchat, content to pass the time amongst the guests. For the most part, the night had been a serene one, at least for the guests, the wedding party would surely be exhausted when the night was through. The lights dazzling to her again the darkness of night, it was romantic scene even despite the cooler weather. If anyone else felt a chill she hardly knew, her molten core steadily a source of heat. Her ruby dress kissed the ground with a long slit along the front that exposed nearly the entirety of her leg.

As the night went on, the crowd of people growing increasingly more boisterous and Mira had found herself hugging closely by the refreshments table. She had no clue what that drink was, but this stuff was delicious. Perhaps she could ask Raven about it should she get the chance. She could see it quickly becoming addictive.... And dangerous. The she wolf was already on her second, her finger toying with the smooth surface of that glass before downing it.

Mira was lost in thought for a moment lost in thought when Tetradore approached. His presence not felt until that very last second when she felt a prickle along the exposed back of her neck. She pivoted around, her heels still decidedly comfortable. She allowed her eyes to look at the dapper western king, happy to see him as she clearly took all of him in with a little smirk upon her lips.

"If I didn't know any better, I would say you enjoy dressing up." That teasing lilt fell easily from her lips. He pulled it off.

"You are getting quite good at weddings, you ever think of having weddings at the ark?" The she-wolf could hardly help that warm laughter that escaped her knowing the reaction she was going to get from him.

"You want to try this. I don't know what's in it.. but it's ridiculously addictive."

I'd rather be dangerous;

MIRA RAMOS
