East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It was a decidedly curious thing to sit in the passenger seat of a speeding vehicle. Especially one so fast. The car jumps at the ready after she's settled in, the speed enough to push her weight into the seat. She's be lying if she didn't admit that she rather enjoyed it, though the joy of the speed is soon lost as her mind draws up darker thoughts, Tetradore and the fancy car falling away briefly as she frowns out the window, vaguely aware of the structures passing by. It's only when they stop that Taliah looks at the Were King, her green eyes lingering on him as he explains. She can't help but allow the soft sigh to escape her lips as she tells him her own situation, shifting was not... ideal for her unless she had a safe place to hide and the sun was out warming the pavement.

How strange shifting was for her, the woman hardly ever being talented at it and the exhaustion that followed was something she never could quite get the hang of. Not to mention... she literally wore her emotions on her scales after the shift. Gone was the stoic woman only to be replaced with scales that changed colors abruptly when she was feeling something rather strongly.

Taliah waits patiently for Tetradore to respond and it seems that it's his turn to sigh as he shifts his gaze towards her. The drumming of his fingers catches her attention briefly as she watches them tap in the steering wheel. It's his voice that has her gaze meeting his again and despite... the situation she finds herself in, she can't help but allow a small laugh to release from her lips, her eyes glinting with amusement for the briefest of moments. Whether or not the Were King was aware of the structure of his words, Taliah was grateful for something to break the tension as a tiny smile tugs at the corner of her lips. "Not terribly big," she answers after a moment, her amusement fading swiftly as the seriousness of what they were about to do sets in, "Around 20 inches, give or take a few. I'm on the smaller end, even for my species," she admits as she watches him.

"What did you have in mind?" She asks after a moment, her own wheels spinning in her brain as she attempts to come up with an alternative solution. Her gaze drifts away for a moment as she glances at the warehouse, racking her brain for an idea. Although, what she isn't entirely prepared for is Tetradore's idea. Human form was one thing to... touch other humans. Being in her viper form was something that was altogether new. Despite her deadly poison, she was small and did not have as much defense as she would in her current form, it wasn't as if a quick bite would cause any significant damage immediately, it took time to work through their system. Plus... after her shift she was stuck that way for some time before she could shift back.

Even the thought of such things was exhausting.

Scrunching her nose at the thought, she turns back to the man as she watches him, she wasn't altogether against a shift and yet, she doubted she would be much help afterwards. Ah, the dilemma.
