East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

kissing death and loosing my breath
A small shrug crossed Serafna's shoulders at the mention of the customers she had wished to hide him from. In truth, the girl didn't like working magic in front of those who frequented the store. Despite being a forefront for potions and alchemy, many discredited them as being charlatains rather then actual witches and, quite frankly, Serafina perfered it that way. Never the less, she focused on her task at hand, pull jar and oil off the shelf within her workshop. She was going to need quite a bit of magic to fix what was she felt beneath the waist line of his jeans. A soft sigh passed over her lips as she gathered her collection of items into her arms, moving with care back towards the bench where she had placed him. "Good." She replied simply as she deposited the items with a clatter on the wooden face of the bench, catching a jar as it threatened to roll off the table. Her fingers reached out to brush against his hip, eying the wound and feeling the flesh underneath with a tenative touch. A lot of magic inded. Her lips pressed together, her attention shifting back towards the item's she brought and abruptly she began opening jars, crushing herbs and mixing oils.

Her gaze shifted abruptly as he began to speak again, her grey tinged gaze wandering slowly towards him in an inquisitive fashion. A snort left her nose at added in his expected discount. "Pft. Don't you know? Special treatment is extra." She replied in the same half hearted fashion that he had spoken to her with. It seemed as if whatever joy they had once found was quickly being drained from them. It was that fashion which caused the young woman to wish this process over perhaps just as much as he had. She had turned back to her work, grabbing the same dagger she had before during the process of making his first potion. "Hm?" She questioned at the sound of her name upon his lips. "You better." She replied simply, letting her metal press against her palm, splicing flesh in two to bring forth a beed of silver from her veins. He needed particular potency and she was going to give it.

It took her a moment or two longer before she was ready to apply her creation. It was only then that she turned towards him, glancing briefly at the clock on the wall. Yes, the time should be close. Her tea and salve had properties to relax both him and his body, hopefully, with the application of this one he would be out before the agonizing pain kicked in to heal him from both inside and out. Her finger's worked their way into his hip, her eyes settled on his flesh and yet her ears were trained to his breathing, waiting for his breath to slow. It did, quite inevitably and quite on time. Serafina knew it would displeas him, her decision to put him under. It was an act of mercy, even if it was done without his permission. She caught him as he slumped over, moving him carefully to get better access at his wound. It was only once it was covered with the goop she had created that she did her best to meanuver him into a laying position. A soft huff leaving her lips. Later she would take him back to his place to let him wake within the confort of his home. For now, however, she wanted to ensure everything went according to plan.
