East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

Iliana was so very lost to the dance within the vampire prince's seemingly safe and caring arms. Lost to the sweet sound of his accented humming voice as he led them through the clearing of the forest she loved so much. She could only find one word for it, magical. How effortlessly he took the lead, guiding and twirling her in a manner that was perfectly elegant. He made it seem easy. It hardly mattered that the ground was uneven or that it was darker in some areas where they tread. The fae felt as though her very self was teleported somewhere else that did not belong on this earth. It didn't bother her even in the least that her that the forest creatures chose to remain hidden still watched them from afar. Perhaps they too were entranced by the dark prince's spell. With the last whirling movement and in flawless time with the final note to his tune, the pair slowed to a stop beneath a moonbeam that peeked through the trees. She seemed almost sad it was over, and yet he did not part from her. In fact, one hand still held her gently but firm, positioned upon her hip and the other was as tender as a butterfly's wings as his fingertips brushed along her jawline in a way that made her feel oddly.. cherished. The pale haired fae had never been held this way before nor had she been touched in such a way that he caused her heart's frantic beat to race that had nothing to do with fear or that dance.

Iliana. Her name was uttered in the softest of ways, not much more than a loving whisper even though she could still detect his accent she liked so much. She could barely comprehend the question that left his lips. Instantly she was nothing more than a deer in headlights, wide eyes took in those kind and gentle eyes. The thought made her mouth dry but her mind whirled. It was a wild chaos and yet it was somehow subdued by him. A kiss she had actually wanted? There was a hint of anticipation in that breath of a moment, that sway of his power and his very closeness that she could not help the words that she'd already known and yet almost nervous to say them out loud. But it came out all the same as if the look in his eyes urged them from her. His smile alone entranced her, as if to encourage her and it was all she needed. She felt the warmth of her cheeks start to creep into a rosy pink as those silver eyes seemed focused on his lips. It was like he could feel that anticipation and embraced it, as if he knew to slow his movements to somehow make even that sensual, not that she was entirely aware of what that meant. All she knew was that she felt even more aware of the vampire prince than she ever knew possible.

No, that kiss was nothing like the abrupt crushing press of lips against her own. He simply took his time, as if he had all of it to give.. His face lowered only mere inches away before she spoke those words, not even serving as a deterrent, even despite her apparent innocence. He promised to teach her well. "Like dancing.." She agreed, a breathless whisper as her eyes felt heavy and his lips finally pressed against her own in the most gentlest of caresses. His lips were cool and yet it felt lovely against her warmth as her heart sang within her chest. One kiss than two.. then multiplied into what seemed countless. Her lips were accepting, soft against own as she kissed him back. It was like he threatened to steal the very breath from her lungs and she wanted to yield to him. It felt as though her body wanted to melt into his, her searching fingers sought to touch him in a fashion that was all too tender and could not be helped.

Her mouth followed his when it became something else. His lips were determined to brush where his fingers had once been upon her jaw, the flutter of short-lived kisses then descended. Oh, she had never a kiss like that. Hopeless, Iliana didn't even bother to open her eyes as she merely welcomed the cool brush of his lips upon her sensitive skin. This was kissing?

Those kisses soon found the slope of her neck. How ticklish her skin felt and yet she found no need to laugh. No this was different. Woah.. her mind thought vaguely as her heard sped up.

He spoke her name through the haze that she had found her breathing to have shifted. Her eyes fluttered open and it was like even the moon's silvery light was too harsh for her eyes. He did not move away and she didn't either. In fact, she wasn't sure she could quite stand without him. What was wrong with her? Her silvery eyes caught his ever darkening eyes that reminded her of the darkest depths of the sea. Was she drowning? No certainly not. She was breathing and in a forest. She found her thoughts silly but it was his inquiry that drew her in next.

Would she like to feel something amazing? Was that kiss not amazing? She could not help but a bashful grin spread across her lips. "What could be more amazing than.... Kissing?" She asked with a hint of shyness and yet she felt no shame.

"Then I want to know what is." She had no idea what he intended to do or what he meant and yet she seemed to want to know. Oh how she was nothing but a willing perfect little lamb willing to walk right into the lion's jaws without even knowing it.
