East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Gideon certainly could see the surprise on Serafina's face when he was swift to bring up work. While yes, his preferred method of working would be him performing an assassination, but if the work called for him to perhaps resort to thievery or just even spooking someone he wouldn't turn it down.
The Greek knew one good thing from his homeland, and that was taking any kind of work that was offered to you. Even if you weren't really known for it but you took it anyway.
And hearing that he was to possibly steal something? Is there a stipulation of sorts? Perhaps he could assassinate someone along the way if needed- A perk of taking Thievery jobs was making sure you weren't seen and you could get in and out. But poisoning someone wasn't exactly frowned upon. A crooked little smirk formed on his face at the sheer thought that went through his mind.

The Fae swiftly turned to the waiter before him and took one more second to think about his option, but of course he'd pick the most unorthodox option.
"I'd like the Toasted Honey Latte, with a touch of vanilla cream. And a blueberry scone, thank you! Gideon said warmly to the waiter, who'd take their orders and nod as he'd move back to the coffee bar area. A shadowy figure seemed to walk through the crowd that was outside and his eyes instantly locked on to it, and he was so well trained that he didn't even move his own body. He was relaxed but stiff and ready to jump. LIttle did the witch know, but he was wearing his special multi tool bracer under his jacket and a blade that was ready to plunge into someone.

"Yes. Work is quite slow. You'd be shocked to know that I've been doing little odd jobs in the city. Honest labor." He would snicker, as his accent came through his words. "I know. Me of all people. Alas, I'm very keen on hearing what it is you're in need of acquiring. After all, you should know that I am not one to shy away from grabbing something. Surprised you don't remember the time we met and how I fetched a little object for you."
The Fae remembered that all too well, and it was still one of his best memories. Huh. Curious it was indeed.
"But before that, you said you needed a break? Care to maybe take a moment and talk? We've got plenty of time I'm sure, so why not. Plus I've been wondering what's been going on in the world of dear Serafina Dubois." There was his accent coming through strong as ever.

"Then again I got a feeling with you that your work is probably the same ol' same ol'. But it's been so long I will admit that I kind of forgot what all you do in your line of business.
I don't quite remember if you remove curses from relics or use them for a spell..."
He couldn't help but giggle at his own words. "Sorry, I sound like a little child asking all these silly questions.:
