East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

He is a constant presence at her back, for the moment slipping into the realm of the unseen but remaining nonetheless as a tangible entity just beyond her. It could very well have been a byproduct of the magic he had pressed upon her so smoothly that she feels his presence in this way, so many ethereal fibers continuing to exert his influence upon her despite the dissolution of a great deal of his sway. They pause aside one another once they have extracted themselves from the mulling mass of the ever-growing crowd, the young woman swiveling in a somewhat excited fashion to offer up her belated greeting. A quizzical look scrunches her features in an admittedly adorable fashion as this peculiar stranger brings her hand to his lips in a genteel caress. A nervous chortle plays at her lips as Isolt staggers out her own niceties. "It's a pleasure... Damon."

His next question is lighter, easing some of the anxious tension bred by his decidedly uncustomary greeting, a gesture gone out of fashion decades before and yet... seemingly commonplace within the set of mannerisms of this enigmatic stranger. "Mmmm..." she hums, more to herself than to the man at her side, brilliant blue eyes perusing one hastily-assembled booth after the next, bombarded by not only the flashing lights and exuberant banners of each, but also seduced by the heavenly and gluttonous aroma curling about her. It is a common practice of the youthful redhead to conform to rather stringent rules when it comes to what she consumes, and yet the aura of the evening has lulled the normally healthy eater into something of a culinary "dream-like" state. "Heck, why don't we just go all out... hotdog it is," she professes, meandering playfully towards the nearest concessioner, her copper-topped head turning momentarily to ensure that he follows.

The delicious treat steams in her hand, warming the tender surface through the paper material of its holder as she leads her newfound company to the solitude of somewhat secluded park bench. It is away from the bustle of the riotous crowd, for truly her inherently demure demeanor lessens any extended tolerance for such things. She is so unlike Harley in this. Isolt seats herself, a moment of silent consideration passing over her before she extends the sinful morsel to her counterpart... it has been his purchase, and therefore he is deserving of the first taste. A smile, beautifully innocent in the way that so many things about her are, creases the brims of her plush lips. "So what's your story, Damon?"
