East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The stars in their orbits

Well it was certainly turning on to be a productive day at least. The amount of turnout due to her simple ad in the paper meant pickings were slim out in the job world. Nadya took in each and every face as they filtered in one shortly after the other putting on their best professional selves and introducing themselves. She didn't care what any of her employees wore outside of work so long as they were willing to wear what was required for the job so while she easily noted the less than professional appearance of the one woman there was no judgment in it. As for the red head that had introduced herself as Genevieve, Nadya was as equally interested as Finley by the striking hair which would certainly stand out on stage. "If you don't dye your hair I'm confident you'll do well as a dancer. Men like unique." She smiled softly and rose from the barstool to address both interested in dancing. "Just a reminder that Burlesque doesn't mean this is a strip bar. There isn't any nudity, just alluring clothes and movements." There was no way she would let her place become a strip bar.

The fact that Finley was human didn't bother her but it was just as interesting since she hadn't interacted much with humans before. "Well, Mr. Fin, as long as your siblings won't get mad and come in here causing a scene because you work here then I'd be more than happy to give you a place at the bar. And since you seem to be such the gentlemen and this bar is going to be yours you should have it set up how you like." Nadya smirked and indicated the boxes and crates for him to get started as he pleased. "You can have any of the stuff where you feel it should go." She glanced to the three women then held up a finger to give her a moment before she wandered into the next room then reappeared with catalogues. "These have a variety of outfits which I've narrowed down. If you're comfortable wearing these then you're more than welcome to be dancers here. We can go through these and see what will be best with the music and get your sizes ordered in." Nadya splayed the catalogues across one of the tables in front of the women. "Faeries will be a good hook to get people in here." Her gaze flickered to Felicity in some doubt due to her silence but moved on. "If any of you aren't comfortable with wearing the outfits but have any technical skills I could move you to be a stage master of sorts, in charge of props, lightning, music, that sort of stuff making sure it all flows during the show." Nadya was certainly eager to get the business up and running so was more than willing to find a niche for each person.

It wasn't until another new comer entered that Nadya turned and faltered, not because of the blunt pressing of the ad into her hand, but from the two weapons that were strapped to the woman's back. Subtly Nadya stepped back from the woman only in precaution since she didn't know who the weapon-clad wonder was and certainly didn't know she was part of the pack seeing as her and her brother weren't seeing much of each other lately. Nadya raised a brow slightly before looking down at the ad placed in her hand then back to the woman. "Bouncer. I admire the preparedness and...dedication...but I don't think-I hope- that we won't need weapons here." The silence was a bit unnerving so she continued to try and give the benefit of the doubt since a bouncer position was generally a male sought after job. "If you want to be the bouncer then the weapons have to go. Do you have an ability that enables you to fulfill the position otherwise?"
