East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

For the barest, smallest moment, Isolt fears that perhaps he will fail to recognize her as consequence of the brevity of their singular interaction and the myriad transformations that had certainly woven their evidence into her physical form since last they had met what felt like eons ago. No longer was she the emaciated specter, the brutalized and vacant shell, that she had been when he had stumbled upon her on that winding and moonlit path. No longer was she starved of nourishment, for she had found it in plenty due in no miniscule part to Damon's ever-patient and perseverant guidance; the smooth pallor of her facade bore no traces of the hollows that had existed there before, the cerulean pools of her eyes dazzled and gleamed with a light that had been snuffed entirely by Risque's rapacious hands. Though the inner was in no manner a suitable reflection of this outward mending, for far too deep were the fissures that dissected this tender soul, it could not be denied that Isolt had flourished physically in the time that they had been absent one another. And for this do her features echo the pleasant warmth of his own simper in kind. "And you haven't changed a bit, it would seem. Also... it's Isolt, if you don't mind." Again is she amiable, her tone bereft the notes of admonishment that could have been for the presumed mocking of his chosen nickname. He had, indeed, effectively portrayed his qualms with her admittedly naive desires the night that they had met.

It is to his merit that this decidedly haughty gentleman eases from her the heft and scrutiny of his glances as Isolt had been valiantly battling the urge to squirm beneath the weight on such unspoken dissection. Though whatever resolve she could lay claim to had bolstered her against his previous advances, it was but a gossamer veneer that very well might tatter about the edges and peel away in favor of the demureness that had always been her custom. So unaccustomed was she to such aggressively senuous advances that even the fortitude inherent in immortality could not proffer up any sufficient measure of comfort in the presence of this man who held more confidence in a single hand than was contained in her entire body. And so it is a gracious offering at the fingertips of fate that the bashful crimson-haired girl does possess some modicum of confidence with which she might meet his final inquiry. "Something I'm sure you'll find rather satisfying," she affirms with but a hint of the subtle confidence that is a promising bloom within her.

Meandering the remaining length of the sloping bar in order to position herself opposite him, Isolt swiftly produces a rather mystic-looking bottle, an iridescent ebony decanter with striations of the deepest crimson swirling about its glossy curves. The vessel itself is surprisingly warm beneath the cool pallor of her fingertips as she passes it across the bartop to her impromptu guest. Contained therein is a concoction of her own design, an admittedly delectable marriage of the most savory lifeblood and titillating spices that could appeal even to the captious tastebuds of the living dead. Slender digits rake through the waved curtain of her auburn locks in anticipation of his judgement as her eyes once again flitter to meet his. "So, what brings you here? I would have thought the pickings might have been easier for you in a dance club or something. Or did you just come for the atmosphere?"
