East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

A scowl cross the vampire's features at the pleased simper painted on the lips of the young girl in front of him. She seemed entirely too pleased that she'd successfully managed to chase off the woman that had once been Sebastian's soul interest. It soured his mood, being denied in such a fashion when he had been so close to feasting. Never the less, the man's hands were shoved into the pocket of his overcoat, his crystalline eyes slowly shifting to follow the youthful child as she skipped around him with obvious glee. He hadn't, at the time of suggesting a new game, actually considered what new "game" he might engage in her with. After all, it wasn't as if he had played any sort of childish games in a very, very long time, and even then, during his youth, the genders had been separated well enough. What games they had played as boys were entirely different, he suspected, then the things the girls of the same era indulged in. Never the less, the man slowly shook his head - that is until the mention of his maker caused the man to falter. He'd suspected that she didn't remember him, especially considering the heartless cruelty she had displayed upon their last meeting when it came to the girl she had compelled him to kill but somehow, given his current mental state, her complete disregard for his life irked him far more then it should have.

"No. My maker cared very little about the people she killed. She was just hungry - it didn't matter to her who I was, just that I had blood. Only, I survived her bite." He replied simply, his bright blue eyes slowly sliding towards her though he doubted her childish mind would be able to make the connection. "She's hardly changed now. Even after nearly two centuries." His head shook slowly, his anger leaving him as quickly as it came. Sebastian was not one to hold onto his annoyance for very long, after all, he was a lover at heart. Or at least, after his transformation, he had surely become one. Instead he remained steadfast to his spot, answering the rest of the child's inquiries in an equally as vague of a fashion. "I live here in the city by myself." Sebastian replied simply even though he had the sinking feeling that he was going to somehow regret giving the girl even this small amount of information.
