East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Her thin fingers traced the edge of the shot glass in front of her, delaying entirely to place the small glass upside down on the top of her slowly crafted pyramid. Her blue-grey gaze watched idly at the curious manifestation that the umbrage that so mirrored Davante danced with. She was something new, some form of power that Serafina had not yet before witnessed her companion cast. It was inquisitive at the very least and Serafina couldn't help but to wonder her purpose, or rather who she was. Her gaze traced the voluptuous curves of the corporeal woman's figure, she watched the way her hips moved with a measure of seduction as she lured the shadowy figure into her warm, eager embrace. She radiated a sort of sex appeal that even Serafina herself was remotely aware of. Unfortunately, the young witch's inspection of the jaded female was interrupted only by the voice of Davante himself, causing her gaze to shift back towards the man that managed to bring forth such intense emotion within her. "Who is she?" Serafina inquired, choosing not to presently speak upon Davante's near invitation to dance. After all, dancing, although something she was proficient enough in, was not exactly her greatest forte.

Her eyebrow rose precariously upon her fair, feminine features at the syllables that left her companion's lips. It was sweet, at the very least, the sanctuary he attempted to offer her from the ghastly figures that still haunted the darkened corners of her townhouse. A small part of the woman also found it humorous he thought her safe within the confines of his apartment - as if his ghosts had not yet proved once that safety in itself was nothing but a feeble illusion. Never the less, the witch hardly made a measure to point this fact out, instead choosing to dwell upon the sincerity of his proposition. Her focus, however, tarried immediately as the man reached over, his fingertips cupping the edge of her stool as she was dragged across the floor, the fabric of her jeans brushing against his till Serafina because acutely aware of the small proximity between their warm flesh. Her stormy gaze immediately fell upon his, lingering with a deep inquisitiveness that she failed to voice. Instead, the woman gingerly picked up the next shot glass in line for her, letting the crystalline liquid past her sweet heart lips and slide sweetly down her throat. The distraction hardly lasted long, however, before Serafina found herself being pressed forward by a firm hand that knotted into her ebony locks.

She was almost taken by surprise by the sensation of his lips roughly pressed against her own, the taste of his skin filling her mouth and yet, Serafina hardly made any effort to pull away from him, instead relishing in the moment that she had been denied for so terribly long. The moment lingered onwards until, quite abruptly, it was gone, her neck released as his fingertips brushed along her skin and intently her blue-grey gaze settled upon his features, her eyebrows furrowed in thought. Her attention shifted only at the mention of her liquor, causing her shoulders to shift in a small shrug. "I spent a few years in Russia. Some stereotypes are in place for a reason." There was a small simper to her wicked feminine features and carefully the girl slid from the bar stool she had only moments ago been poised upon. "I think, perhaps, that is the first good idea you've had." She muttered with a grin, one that seemed to suggest the man chase after her.
