East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I keep going to the river to pray.

Willow couldn't believe what was happening even though it was un folding right in front of her eyes, they had found her and now he had her pinned on the wall ready to kill her. Willow's pathetic excuse for a life flashed before her eyes, the beatings the blood given and him, the man who had taken her and used her to his will. Before Willow could even cry she heard a voice and her head somewhat snapped to face said voice. Willow bright green eyes widened when she saw the red haired woman approaching them and began to struggle harder when her capturer turned only but a little bit of his attention to the woman to speak with her telling her to mind her own business. Willow was shocked as his gripped loosen and fell from her neck dropping her to the ground his full attention on Willow's red haired saviour, Willow felt a slightly pinch of relief when the woman caught the pipe and covered her mouth stoping a scream when the man dived for Isolt his fangs sinking into the woman's neck. Willow tried to charge at him in a weak attempt to get him away from the woman but this only served to make the man angrier as he pushed her away and pinned the poor red haired woman to the ground under him.

Willow sat there stunned for a moment before she noticed the woman staring at her, it took a few seconds for Willow to understand that she was going to have to free the woman from underneath that bastard. Willow's hand slowly moved and gripped a large piece of wood that had fallen not far from her gripping it tightly as she slowly and shakily rose to her feet her eyes trained on the man anger clear in her bright green eyes as she made her way over. "Didn't anyone teach you that its not nice to hit a woman!" The minute his head snapped around to face her she gripped the stake tightly and swung her arm up, embedding the stake under his chin right threw his head. Willow used all her strength to shove him over and off the woman before ripping the stake back out and plunging it into his chest a few times for good measure. Ever so slowly Willow dropped to the ground staring at the now dead vampire blood her forearms and sweat dripping down her forehead, her eyes wide and clearly frightened. This was the first vampire Willow had ever killed and she couldn't believe she had done this, she had managed to kill one of the master's workers. The her memory kicked in remembering the red-haired woman that had very well saved her.

Willow slowly turned herself to face the woman knowing very well what she was, another vampire. Great just what Willow needed. Even though everything in her body was telling her to grab a stake and get rid of this one as well Willow just couldn't bring herself to do it, this woman maybe a vampire but this one saved her as well. Saved her from either being killed or being taken back to Master, Willow ever so slowly moved over to her tilting her head to the side a small smile forming on her lips, "You saved me. T-Thank you. I'm Willow."
