East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

This was a decidedly...cooler side of the panther woman then one he was used to experiencing, her very demeanour seeming determined to oppose him. Evidently the last more intimate moment they had shared had seemed to derail the woman entirely, resulting in her sudden frosted attitude and yet- the equine hardly finds that he minds all that much, content enough to allow her to work through whatever issue she suddenly seemed to find with him- assured that side of her he appreciates far more would return in time. For now he simply offers her a smooth shrug in response to the critical look she offers, assuring them that her club is not the place for such antics before proceeding to discuss the dancers with the other woman. What little of his gaze can be seen drifts briefly towards the stage and the woman parading upon it now, this apparent lead at least managing to be more entertaining then her predecessors and yet, truly, the man fails to be wholly captivated by them. His attention, instead, returning to the darker skinned woman beside him- her acidic tongue and evident determination to oppose him a rather new challenge and one that had seemingly captivated his attention- at least for now, her words nearly as cool as his own as she offers them.

Her attention lingers upon his own handiwork as the girl is hastened to the nearest both in some effort by her colleagues to return her to a more neutral state of existence, Frost offering no further assistance in that manner. She would hardly die, his powers halted well before that, more so she would simply require an hour or so too recover from her sudden heat flush. His exposé little more than the barest indication of his abilities. The smoothly delivered retort of the woman beside him sees his own lip quirk ever so slightly, a barely perceptible lift that betrayed some fragment of amusement in her words as chuckle hummed loosely within his chest. It had been rather awhile since anyone, save for perhaps Nadya herself, had been daring enough to attempt to engage him in such a carefully played game as this, one he found relish within tonight- if only for the intrigue it brings his ever cunning mind.

"Pretentious? No. That one is new, though I hardly deny it. By that same token I am assured you are aware of your own overbearing haughtiness. It's very near insufferable though it would be distinctly ungentlemanly like of me to mention it."

He shoulders shrug loosely, words delivered with a distinct lack of flare, as if he merely states a fact he knows entirely to be true. It is a truly rare deliverance of words from the snowy haired equine, the man rarely choosing to offer anything other than at least a falsified politeness. On this occasion however, he finds himself willing to engage the woman in her own game, allowing the deliverance of his thoughts in full as he continues to lean back against the bar. His attention deviated only by the sudden collapse of a man several feet away, the Egyptian woman looking decidedly pleased as Frost allows his gaze to trawl lazily over her supposed victim with a distinct lack of....interest. Whatever words he may have been content to offer however are interrupted by Nadya once more and the exchange between the women, Askaree's assurance that she could remove him met with a distinct and obvious snort.

"With what talent, might I ask, do you intend to remove me? Unless that....lacking display was your power, it was difficult to tell, although I suppose if my powers involved merely making people clumsy I would hardly desire to display them either. You could use a little of my pretensions nature, it might improve your act."

One eye simply lifts and no more, voice forever calm and seemingly emotionless in its deliverance, stated with a smooth assurance as the woman discuss dancers or whatever else it is they seem so fixated upon. His apparent likeness to Justin Bieber however, manages to earn the woman the briefest of scowls, violet gaze rolling somewhere beneath that shock of snowy hair.

"Oh baby, baby, baby oh, please, keep going- your words are so enticing and original. As for my intervening I am assured you should consider yourself fortunate. No one else seemed to be paying you any attention. As for your business, Nadya, I assure you I will bring it no harm."

A simper dances briefly across his features once more, so effortlessly teasing at this so called Askaree with those smooth, cool lyrics as his baritone voice so easily intersects the lighter, feminine tones of his companions before he offers something of an introduction at last towards the darker-skinned woman.

"Frost. Though if you intend to make any equally as humorous jokes about my appearance and my name as the one in regards to my likeness to an American pop star at least allow me to get a drink first while you discover that the colour of my hair is distinctly similar to snow or ice and that yes, I am aware of it."

She seemed to enjoy such basal little jokes and truthfully he hardly cared if she did, he merely desired to be warned of it first so that he might entertain himself with a drink while she took childish mirth in recognising that his name rather suited his appearance overall.
