East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Crowds had always had a fashion of making Tetradore uncomfortable, even if it was a state of agitation he rarely displayed. It was this reason that the man often chose the viewing platform within the Ark to settle for the night rather than amongst the boisterous throng that lined the hull of his ship, crowded around the roped rings. Tonight, however, he had ventured into the heart of such chaotic festivities for the demure vampire alone, the pair's recent unexpected trip to the beach prompting him to venture from his floating sanctuary. His emerald eyes slid from the woman in question only by the presence of the lanky deviant and the presence of his chunky gold jewelry. The man hardly intruded into their conversation, instead reaching out to take the offered drink only to find it falling a few inches short of his own fingertips. His eyebrows furrowed, his gaze glanced upwards at the wolverine only to note the fear that had flooded her features. The woman's hushed voice caused his gaze to drift, hardly finding difficulty in spotting the ivory haired man he'd faced off against earlier within the month. His gaze lingered upon the man but he hardly made the effort to move from his current position, muttering a gruff word of his own perhaps warped form of assurance, "He won't attempt anything here - he's just trying to prove a point and keep you frightened."

He turned towards the group at hand, purposefully giving Frost his back with the entire intent to display by body language alone that the man was hardly worth an ounce of his attention, regardless of the fashion at which he so seemed to terrify the were-wolf at his side. Instead, his emerald eyes glanced above at the fashion at which the lights seemed to flicker, a glimpse of concern marred his features, his eyebrows furrowing in silent contemplation. Despite this observation, however, the man chose not to speak upon the topic, his attention instead shifting towards the auburn haired vampire. He was oblivious to the fashion at which she had coaxed Damon to join their small congregation, having been far more distracted by the lupine creature at his side and the flickering of the lights overhead. What he was aware of, however, was the fashion at which their gracious hostess for the evening had managed to quite literally piece back the shards of broken glass back to their state of perfection. Her aptitudes, it would seem, had grown. There was a small glimpse of surprise across Tetradore's masculine features, the corner of his lips twitching ever so slightly as if to suggest she had done a marvelous job at her craft.

Gingerly he reached out to take the cup she had offered him, the liquor immediately hitting his lips as if he craved the liquor's potent sway. He knew all too well that it was entirely possible it would be required of him to defend his territory and his pack tonight, a notion which didn't particularly appeal to him. Fortunately, he hardly had much of a chance to dwell upon it before another joined their small congregation. At first, Tetradore had failed to recognize the man until he found himself staring into the same pale blue that had graced the irises of another female. So this was the warlock that had employed his services. His hand reached out immediately to embrace Davante's in a firm shake, "No, I don't think we have. It's a pleasure, Davante. I hope you found your...product...to your liking." He commented, referring to the mysterious artifact that he'd overseen shipped from those lost Mayan shores. Business was, at the moment, far more intriguing to Tetradore then the state of his pack or the threat that lingered just on the periphery of them.
