East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She was a tantalizing creature, even standing as she was with the darkness of her gaze narrowed, as if she hardly cared to believe the words he offered and yet he had hardly lied to her all the same. Perhaps his words had not been carved purely of truth in all facets and yet they were delivered in such a manner as to cause reasonable doubt all the same. That was all he needed after all, for her to have even the slightest doubt as to the supposed righteousness of either Raven or Tetradore's actions. The wolf if seemed, would prove the far easier target, Nadya so unfortunately seeming to have placed her brother upon a pedestal of perfection that seemed untainted- at least for now. For all the thoughts that turned within his mind however his expression remained apathetic, blank, content with his piece and little more as what part of the violet of his gaze could be seen lingered upon them woman. Distracted, perhaps, by her momentary proximity as she moves to toss the hat that had rested upon his chest back on stage, striding forward to close what distance remained between them until her knees near rested upon his own. The finger against his chest however was near vaguely amusing as she moved to lean over him- the view such a position offered not entirely displeasing even if her words failed to fill him with any sense of pleasure.

"You have a very high opinion of your Brother, higher then he seems to have of you when asked though I will leave that conversation for another day. He is your sibling, you will protect him- I understand, though whichever way you might desire to look at the events of that evening I struck no one first, either the wolf or your brother."

That, in itself, was also true. Both Raven and Tetradore had attacked him without seeking any reason for his presence, providing with equine with information that neither had perhaps desired and yet information to be used all the same. Tetradore was surely the more controlled of the two and yet Raven was quick to anger, easy to provoke and prone to juvenile mistakes in battle. Tetradore was by far the more experienced when it came to disagreements of the physical sense and yet even so the Panther was not immune to acting without thinking if he believed his cause just enough. Of her Brothers upstanding morals however, Frost finds himself dubious- another matter he sees no need to address for now however, merely allowing a simper of sorts to dance briefly upon his lips at her pointed accusations against his own nature. It was both surprising and yet not entirely pleasing to find her presumptions so very....astute in regards to himself, any momentary irritation quickly concealed beneath his usual mask of indifference.

"I continue to underestimate you though I am not entirely sure why. Perhaps I am simply not used to women whom so readily engage the men around them, though I hardly find I dislike it."

He offers little more then a muted chuckle by way of response, attempting to distract himself from her own proximity now, finding himself amused, to an extent, that she had so successfully deconstructed his own personality.

"As I said before you are wasted on your current pack. You were born to lead and yet you simply exist beneath your brother, sharing a rank with a man whom can barely string together a sentence. Maybe I am prone to be more calculated then others, I will admit to it, but you know, also, that you are better than those around you and yet still you chain yourself to them out of some misguided sense of duty. Do you stay with that pack because you desire it- or because you feel obligated to?"

One eye simply moved to lift itself upward in curiosity, hardly truly expecting an answer to the question he posed and yet if she desired to play this game then so be it, the whispered words she offered seeing a momentary shift in his own features as they frowned slightly, her finger moving from his chest though she lingered still. The final words she offered far from what he desired to here and yet he hardly argues the truth of them, the sincerity in both her gaze and her words betraying her this time. Love- after all, was a truly difficult barrier to break, often impossible. Yet that did not mean it could not be circumnavigated- in time. For a moment the young, snowy-haired man remained silent, allowing his own thoughts to turn briefly before he moved at last to lean forward, rising easily now to his feet, brushing against the delicate feline as he did- her attire still far too distracting to his mind then he truly cared to admit as a sigh of sorts parts his lips, his chest very near against her own so close was their proximity now.

"I am not trying to fill a void, Naja. As you said before there is little I do without a reason- but it does not always mean those reasons are dishonourable, does it? My interest in you has little to do with any void and as such the offer still stands. I did not take you for a creature inclined to be so....obedient to anyone as you are to your brother though I believe what you said, he will protect what is his but do not think for a moment that he will not lie to you to do it either- if you believe him infallible then that is your mistake to make- but I won't argue it with you now. Either way, it will not be by my hand your children are harmed, remember that, if nothing else."

His words remain calm, soft, little more than a murmur, her proximity hardly requiring any more volume then what those smooth, cool lyrics offer as the barest shift forward brings him against her entirely now, quite incapable of resisting what he desires entirely, even without the touch of her own powers as he allows his head to lower and lips to brush against hers in what is more a tease of a kiss, those tendrils of heat dancing about atop her skin in the promise of warmth without truly offering it, savouring the taste of her all the same even fleeting as it is.

"When you're ready to stop existing in the shadow of your sibling, come and find me then."
