East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

Sebastian's crystalline gaze remained steadfast upon the young woman as he spoke, equally ignoring the phone that vibrated across the table as much as she did. In a way, he knew well that his life was held in the balance, dependent entirely upon whatever reason he provided her with for his continued existence. Usually, the simple fact that Sebastian opted not to the end the lives of his food source was enough that Hunters passed him by entirely. Of course, this was not always the case - as the vampire was once again reminded of. A soft sigh left his lips at the snort that immediately left the girl's nose, followed by a burst of giggles in her throat. Quite frankly, Sebastian failed to see what was so humorous about the whole situation at all, but the hunter seemed to be particularly sardonic. He suspected she was fully one of those that 'didn't believe in love' or some such equally nonsensical notion. Sebastian watched as her glare was turned towards his less than human companion and for once, the vampire found himself entirely unable to hide the look of annoyance across his usually pleasant features.

The Victorian vampire paused from his departure, instead he placed his hands on the back of the chair he was moments ago settled within. He leaned forward ever so slightly, a charming smile placed upon his features even if this one was slightly less genuine than his usual good graces. "I'm afraid you have me all wrong, Miss Gia. I prefer everyone." Whatever restraint Sebastian had maintained up to that point had entirely been lost by that one simple sentence. He had no intention to sleep with her or sample her blood like his other interests but Sebastian had every intention to ensure his point was made. Despite the fact that he hadn't held many opportunities to toy with the pheromones of hunters, it was particularly easy for his own affinity to find that chemical signature her body emitted, warping his own body's pheromones to align them instead with something she might subconsciously find more attractive. It was a subtle art, this rearranging of chemicals and yet it was one he had long since mastered.

A small shrug crossed his shoulders at her insistence that his words could hardly ring true and yet Sebastian regarded her with little more than a raised eyebrow. "And how would you like me to do that? Just not kill someone? Who would you like me to just not kill?" His cerulean gaze flickered towards her hand as she moved it to her pocket, already well aware of what must lie within the depths. It was a dangerous game that Sebastian played and yet, it wasn't as if he had particularly many options. Still, if she wanted to be prickly, Sebastian was just as capable of being just as cheeky.
