North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

SHE WAS BORN AND TAUGHT TO ROAR.

she was born and taught to roar
She fingers the dark red gem at her throat, silently appreciating it for all of its mystical attributes. With it secured safely around her neck, the brunette girl cannot help but feel protected. However, it's quite often that Andy forgets the garnet's other, perhaps less appropriate, properties; she forgets that it heightens passion and attracts lust, and she's done the same tonight until the handsome tousle-haired man joins her at the dark wooden table. She can nearly taste the silver blood that ebbs through him. A smile finds its way to Andy's face as she motions politely at the empty chair for him to join her, thin fingers moving away from her necklace and back down to grasp at her rum-filled glass. "Normally, I quite enjoy people watching but I'm thankful for the distraction. Tonight's crowd is... a little dismal." Her amber eyes remove themselves from the man and scan swiftly around the room. A few lone wolves have seated their gruff-looking frames at the bar and, off in the far corner, an already-too-drunk couple has taken to sucking each others' faces off in the dim lighting. Andy grins before turning back to the Warlock. "My name is Andy."

She extends her hand to the man in front of her before motioning to the bartender that she'd like a third beverage. He brings it swiftly and Andy, out of habit more than anything else, gives him a warm smile and a hefty tip. The lanky man takes her empty glass from the table before returning to the other side of the bar.

A few more people have decided to visit the Voodoo Room but, thankfully, their corner of the establishment remains relatively peaceful. The snogging couple had somehow made their way into a booth on the opposite side of the room, the loners at the bar had all set their sights on a few similarly available women (except one, who seemed to pay more heed to the color of his drinks than his surroundings), and Andy's newest acquaintance was still smiling at her in the non-threatening way that she tended to appreciate.

"Have you lived here long?"
