Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

He seems to distrust me only more when I ask if he's okay. Has he never been asked that before? His eyes narrow almost immediately, as if waiting for the catch. I raise a brow in puzzlement. When I change the subject though, he's quick to grab a hold, telling me to drink more. I bring up the point that he didn't eat all of the caviar and with a very distasteful look toward the plate, he readily agrees with me, waving it off though I can tell he's a little disappointed. I can't help but smile a little in triumph myself.

I do manage to drink my fill of the wine, spitting and sputtering after my first sip which makes him grin and clap his hands as if I just performed a good trick. I glare at him but only briefly. It's not worth the trouble. When I try to offer it to him, I feel my eyes glistening slyly as he starts to reach out for it but I'm only met with disappointment as he stops at the last minute, pulling his arm back. I sulk, poking my bottom lip out.

"I was only thinking it might be more your taste. After all, you like fish and I don't. Maybe there's other stuff you'd like that I don't too."

I shrug lightly, as if this makes perfect sense. I glance at him only momentarily, not wanting to give away my plan. I would say more but right about then, the door to the room flies open and a man that smells strongly of something...odd, is standing there glaring at us. The girl beside him smells weird too and I wrinkle my nose up, looking at Tobias for reassurance as I shrink back. The man's voice doesn't help, my body trembling at the anger in it. I can see something, a glimmer in the air or something, my eyes squinting as I try to make it out. What is that? But Tobias steps forward to answer the man, his voice so matter of fact as if they were discussing the weather. He points at me as he introduces me but I shrink back more, sure that I'm not supposed to be waving in greeting to a man this big and obviously mad.

Suddenly Tobias' chair lifts up and I jerk back with a gasp as he yelps and jumps down from it. Another chair suddenly launches at us and I yell and duck. A beside lamp is next and I manage to jump to the side of it as I hear Tobias say something about leaving. I'm already halfway to the window, figuring it's that time myself. Suddenly I feel him grab my hand and I'm too shocked to react, merely following him limply as he heads to the window himself. Even as he pulls me to him, I see his body shift and I shift right behind him as he darts through the window, my smaller fox form right on his heels. He starts clawing at the roof as he tries to scramble across it but I follow more nimbly, my smaller paws fitting to the tiles more precisely. When he turns to look for me, I catch up with a bark to let him know I'm okay, if he was wondering, of course.

I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed that he has to go but Raven's probably worried about me by now. I smile and nod.

"Sure."

I manage back to him, blue gold eyes glistening with the adrenaline now racing through my system.
