we built this city on broken glass

How distinctly easy it was to tell that Henry was.....uncomfortable in his presence. Such a thing, perhaps, not un-anticipated by the stallion. Most beings were uncomfortable in his presence and yet, to some credit of the man whom sat opposite him, Henry made a distinct effort to remain composed all the same. The other man taking on those words Frost offered and that very warning he delivered veiled within a threat that was hardly idle in any sense. Frost not at all the sort of being inclined to threaten without following through- and if Malia returned to his home pregnant with Henry's child due to some misguided act of recklessness he had every intention of assuring Henry could never reproduce again. The world did not need more fools, after all. And fools only bred fools in turn. Such thoughts for now however, remained within the confines of his mind. His features as always offering little save indifference as Henry began to make something of a case for himself by insisting Malia and himself were friends alone and that sexual part of their relationship so apparently over. Frost merely allowing one eye to lift ina fashion that hinted at his own dubious belief off the implication. Men- were creatures of habit. Frost holding little belief Henry would not fall right back into Malia's arms and yet- he hardly cared if he did. The pair could do whatever they pleased so provided Malia did not end up heartbroken or pregnant at the end of it. The other man assuring him he had no desire to hurt her.

"I believe you care for her and I believe you have no desire to hurt her deliberately. I do not believe you won't end up in her bed again, but as I said- you can do as you please. I'm merely warning you to be careful how you do it."

How distinctly cold those very words were. Uttered with a veritable indifference and yet his violet gaze so hardly shifted from the man before him. That pair could spend as much time in each others beds as they liked so provided Henry did not lead Malia on. The other man, for the most part, appearing to have been clear with Malia about his intentions and for now Frost was content enough in that. Whether or not this 'boyfriend' of Henry's so knew about it was another matter entirely and yet one Frost hardly found himself intrigued within at all. Henry's relationships were his own to treat as he saw fit. Frost concerned with Malia alone. His final words seeming to prompt something more of a reaction within the man before him. Henry's gaze narrowing ever so slightly. Frost finding himself readily intrigued with this fellow once more, curious as to how far he might be pushed before those threads off his control snapped and yet- Tetradore would surely be displeased with him for upsetting his vector. Shame. Henry continued then with that assurance if Malia came home pregnant it would not be to him. That he had encouraged her to find love outside of him.

"Oh how noble of you."

That thin tenor of sarcasm so managed to lace those equally cool words all the same. Perhaps he was being to harsh on the other man and yet Frost was not terribly inclined to good temperament with anyone. Much less a man whom he was rather assured was playing a very.....foolish game. Still, it was Henry's game to play and he appeared to have been honest with Malia so far. The other Were swearing he had promised Malia no children and upheld that end of the bargain. Frost offering that simple nod off his head.

"Then I am glad we understand each other on that point- though I encourage you not to forget what I said."

Henry's gaze met his own readily then. How few ever dared to meet his gaze directly. The man had spine if nothing else. Frost's fingers continuing to drum against that table top then as Henry implored him to look closely, to see they both desired the same for Malia. Hmmm. How very rich of him. Frost allowing that silence between them to linger for a moment before merely pushing his chair back from that table and rising to his feet, the stallion glancing backward a moment to assure the women remained outside before leaning forward toward Henry again.

"I know you are not my enemy. That would imply I perceive you as some sort of threat. You do not even come close to that. I perceive you as a boy pretending to be a man and fucking around because you can't decide what you want- but I don't care. Do what you want. Fuck who you want. Befriend who you want. As long as it does not ultimately come at the expense of my pack then you and I have no problem. You have been warned- you know where I stand. It was a pleasure meeting you."

Frost leaned smoothly away from that table then, his head nodded a final time to henry. Those words nothing if blatantly blunt. Several bills tossed onto the table then to cover his, Nadya's and Malia's share of that meal before he moved to cross back outside to the rest off his pack.

"It's time to go home."
