Serafina was the very definition of a material girl, the young woman easily enticed with the prospect of money and the accumulation of high-class objects. She had an expensive taste with a middle-class budget, resulting in the witch often pausing the very moment that the right amount of money was shoved within her direction. It was a habit, admittedly, born from her years upon the streets. Nevertheless, it was after a moment of vague consideration that Serafina agreed, her hands reaching out for that ebony box, opening it only to tilt it to the side to allow the cards to fall into her hands. The witch was well aware of the vampire's icicle gaze upon her, even despite that bemusement that seemed to light his features into that sort of all-American boyish grin. Uh-huh. Like she bought that. Her stormy irises turned from cards win her fingers as her companion introduced himself, a singular hand outstretched towards her. The young woman hardly hesitated to place her much dainty, much warmer hand within his. The temperature difference between them only confirming that which she'd already known though, admittedly, she'd never had much physical contact with the undead before. Vaguely, she couldn't help but to wonder just how...sensitive his skin was to her warmth....and vice versa.

Such thoughts, however, were kept to herself as Serafina introduced herself, her hand pulling away only to return to the deck within her hands. Her fingers moved deftly, even if Serafina and that deck were still getting acquainted with one another. His insistence that it was a pleasure to meet her, however, prompted her eyebrows to rise ever so slightly. "That remains to be seen." The woman responded crispy, only to fan out those sleek black cards in front of him. Her instructions were nothing short of concise, Serafina's 'bedside manner', as it was, entirely lacking when the ghosts of the past so pressed around them, eying her with such blatant curiosity. Serafina ignored them, however, the young woman had found that the more she pretended that she couldn't see them, the longer it took them to realize she could. That sudden inquiry of how long she'd been at this, however, prompted that initial irritation to vanish, albeit briefly, as she considered the answer to his inquiry. "Three....years?" She inquired, her brows furrowing in contemplation. Had it truly been that long since she'd come into her power? Sometimes, it still felt as if it was yesterday, the witch still hardly comprehending all she was capable of.

She watched as his gaze turned back to the deck in his hands, her head shaking briefly in response to his query, those dark ebony locks shifting about her feminine shoulders in the process. "No, I own a store down in the Westside....this is just...an occasional thing on the side." The young woman commented with a brief rise of her right shoulder in a vague shrug. With his cards drawn, Serafina quickly pushes the spayed out deck back into a neat little stack, the woman placed them off to the side before reaching for the cards in his hand. "Now, you sit there." She informed him, flipping the first card over on the table in front of them. "Oh." She muttered softly as she stared down at the feminine figure on the first card. A crown adorned her head, a bouquet of flowers in her left hand, and yet her entire figure was shattered into pieces, two words written at the bottom in a barely visible glossy black 'The Tower'. "You are a mover and a shaker...you bring chaos with you wherever you go." She informed him, glancing at the man out of her periphery. Carefully, Serafina placed down the other five cards in a pattern around the first, the five circling him in such a way that Serafina found...curious.

"Sacrosanct is going to be...different for you though. You're going to find here that you're usual methods don't work and it's going to challenge you to rise above these new kinks in your plan to achieve your desired goal but..in the end, you're going to have to find that your true...goal has not yet made itself know to you. There is also going to be a woman..." Her voice trailed off, the witch tilting her head inquisitively as she eyed the feminine figure that had appeared within her reading. "She's going to be...trouble...but valuable." Her head bobbed ever so slightly in agreement with herself before she glanced back up at the man at her side almost inquisitively, curious to see what, if anything, had resonated with the man beside her. It was a true test of the deck, to read for someone else and Serafina was curious what those cards were capable of.
