Sebastian Ellington-Aragona

His Royal Highness, Prince of Italy

It seemed that the simple notion that Carolina was likable had never before crossed the young woman's mind, his very utterance prompting an almost breathy laugh upon her lips. A soft, warm simper tugged at the corners of the Italian Princes' features, even as he teased her of the alcohol that so corrupted that delectable flavor that was so reminiscent of creamy caramel bananas. Those perceived flaws, however, were something the vampire was more than willing to overlook. After all, a true Banana's Foster still held a subtle hint of rum in its depths, surely she was merely...embracing that dessert he had so compared her with. What Sebastian hadn't anticipated, however, was the near abrupt acceptance of his proposal, his brow rose ever so slightly with a glimpse of surprise. Truthfully, he had expected that the subject might require more thought than a brief moment of consideration. Even so, as her arms wrapped around his neck, Sebastian saw no reason to argue her agreement. Rather, it was her inquiry of how they progressed things forward that the Englishman sought to provide all of his attention to.

For a brief moment, the crystalline hue of the vampire's deviated from the girl nestled into his lap, his answer clear and concise even if it was, perhaps, unexpected. In truth, the majority of those 'necessities' that the Prince had laid out were hardly that at all. The exchange of blood the only true requirement to secure that bond he offered and yet, the did not survive as long as he had without some measure of caution in all things. That very mention of a contract seemed to bring a hint of surprise to her features - though truly, should she be? With his status...with all that was at stake should their peculiar relationship be found out...Sebastian could already envision the headlines on the tabloids. It was enough to make him cringe, albeit inwardly and yet...he could not deny who he was any more then he could deny what he was and, in turn, those oh so accurate stereotypes that his kind was so known for. That vampiric possessiveness is and was a distinctly dangerous thing, their kind so unwilling to share in a manner that rivaled any other species. Wars had been waged due to it, covens rising and falling and, in this, Sebastian had to admit that he was no different. Carolina, after all, deserved to know exactly what she was involving herself within.

It was, however, his mention of a ribbon that seemed to intrigue her most. That very inquiry prompted a soft chuckle upon his lips. Of course, she would focus on the seemingly most inconsequential detail of them all. His head bobbed ever so slightly. "Yes, a very special ribbon." Those details upon what made it so unique, however, were not ones that Sebastian saw fit to reveal at the present moment. He watched as her feminine features shifted, a hint of seriousness invading the soft lines of her fair face as she provided him with a stern gaze. The insistence of her own desires (or in this case, lack thereof) was admittedly...unsurprising. The corner of his lips twitched upwards, Sebastian incapable of helping that chuckle on his lips as he leaned back in the plush leather. "Once upon a time, it was considered an insult to offer a pomme financial compensation," Sebastian informed her, that very bond the two seemed to form so reminiscent of the days of old. The vampire nodded in agreement, only to add after a brief moment of consideration, "But I will not have you out on the streets either, Carolina. A proper job with a proper home. No more of this...theft business." His brow rose, inquisitive if she might agree to his condition in return.

The vibrancy of his gaze, however, fluttered from her and towards the window as the sleek black sedan began to slow to a halt in front of the woman's familiar building. This was a conversation surely meant to be continued in the comfort of her home with the warmth of tea in their bellies and the deliciousness of crepes on their lips. "If you do not object...perhaps we shall continue this inside?" He inquired, nodding ever so slightly towards the building, his irises refocusing upon the young woman within his lap.
