North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

It had once been one of his more preferred haunts, the polished wood and leather chairs a comforting surrounding for the blonde whom had adopted a sort of routine with the bartender here. At least, until Jerry had disappeared. At first he'd been almost inclined to believe the old fool had finally taken some sort of holiday, the continual lack of his presence however had resulted in Azrael's belief that perhaps the man had finally met a more permanent end. Perhaps, had he not spent a veritable lifetime surrounded by the deaths of others he may have been even half inclined to feel some slither of emotion in regards to his friends disappearance. As it was he was simply inclined to drain the last few drops of his own drink in a muttered toast to his surely dead companion before those golden eyes were given to flick back towards the rapidly filling bar behind him. It was rare indeed for the notoriously frosty fellow to venture into the bar at night, his visits generally retained to early afternoon, his presence within the window he so often liked to sit in having deterred any early rising vampires along with most other super-natural's. Hunters, after all, tend to give off something of a warning bell to the rest of the supernatural world. For whatever reason though, he can hardly bring himself to care tonight, having relegated himself to the far corner, fingers tapping against the wood lackadaisically as he simply continues to survey the room, unnoticed by so many of the patrons, his black jacket and dark jeans simply allowing the blonde the melt into the shadows as he continues to observe.

He hardly needs any more kills this week, having met his personal quota two nights ago and yet being so close to more than one hell-bound creature seems to grate against him, the desire to simply start shooting seeming to burn though his veins with every beat of his heart and yet for now at least, he restrains himself, hardly desiring to cause mass panic by simply standing up. His golden gaze drifts with a near lazy ease from one patron to another, readily picking out human from Witch or Warlock and Were from Vampire, gaze lingering on one or another every now and then before moving on. One particular blonde however, seems to seize his attention, the woman dressed in black outfit cut short and yet simple within itself, suggestive perhaps and yet holding just enough style to be considered classy. For a moment he felt his lip lift ever so slightly. How the fashions have changed. Hmm, maybe he has just been around too long. Vampire or not the creature is still female however and very clearly so, his eyes lingering long enough to appreciate the curves of her form before any other feeling is simply and easily brushed aside, his features expressionless once more, exterior returning to the cool, callous indifference he so often wears. She may not be an ideal target, but she may well prove useful all the same. The wealthy looking ones usually ran in the same circles- despite the species. Hell, maybe he'd get to kill something else tonight after all. Maybe she was attractive, but that hardly made her worthy of life. None of them were, vile, blood-sucking creatures. Yet perhaps she would have a use, at least for tonight. Maybe he would even let her live.

He simply waits until her drink arrives and the bartender moves away, the platinum blonde woman left momentarily alone as his own power moves to activate, the young man appearing beside her quite suddenly by nature of his ability, lips lifting into a smile as entirely lovely as his own features as he so easily slides onto the bar stool next to her, amber gold eyes meeting her own. Unless she is new, or young, she will know entirely what he is, every instinct within her form surely screaming at her to run from the angelic blonde man whom so easily traces a finger along the rim of her glass in a manner near teasing. He always did like to play with his prey- just a little, though tonight she is fortunate perhaps in that he simply seeks information.

"Surely you're not here all by yourself? Why, you look as if you're almost dying for some attention and who would I be if I ignored you now, hmm?"

The chuckle that finds his throat is hardly pleasant as he moves to lean so easily against the bar, jacket hiding a myriad of weapons beneath it's black folds. He hardly fears the girl, vampire or otherwise he is assured of himself. He never has been outrun after all and with shoes like that he has little belief this woman is going to be the first. He never did understand women and high heels.

"I have a few questions to ask you, surely you don't mind helping me a little now do you?"

He offers another tight grin, one eye lifting ever so slightly although really, unless she is utterly foolish he is entirely sure she will comply. His own sense however, remained highly attuned to those around him, it was rare for one supernatural to attempt to play the hero and help another, save for the case of Were Packs, yet he hardly put it past some well-meaning imbecile to attempt to come at him from behind. He's hardly lived this long because he's foolish, after all.
