With such a mutilated face it was very easy for the girl to keep her stoic composure. Slate eyes noticed the millisecond movement of her brows furrowing, as the girl before her began to lean back unclasping her hands. The smile that was thrown her way did not meet the eyes and she couldn't help, but think that if she was able to upset the girl with just one response- what else could she get away with? Survival instinct was running high right now. Self-preservation was one of the basic drives that automatically ran in her system, even though there was nothing that would really entice her to stay alive. A bit morbid yes, but what was a disgraced loner supposed to do? There was an unbearable ache that seemed to do nothing, but penetrate itself into her psyche and simply tear through every thread that held any self-worth. When Caprice's hands lifted, the aloof woman would jolt in her seat, that adrenaline of fight or flight was seeping through her veins, a completely natural response to any sharp movements from a Dark Hunter. As one male came forward her lithe frame would flinch as her head lowered, uncomfortable that he was nearby.

She did not trust males. Conditioned through abuse to believe that males were nothing more than violent creatures that lived to bring others nothing good, just torment and pain. As the Dark Hunter began to drone on in a blunt, but easy manner, her head would tilt to the side, like any canine would at the sound of particular words, in this case it was pup. It had been a very long time since she was referred to that and it left a bitter taste in her mouth, though her scarred façade remained passive. It was when Caprice made the comment that she was here to kill her was what made the girl show a baffled expression. Sure, this was the nature of the relationship between a Were and a Dark Hunter, but why this one would just waltz up to her and tell her was sort of odd. This particular Dark Hunter was slowly acting like the red-headed step-child that wanted nothing more than to be noticed and recognized after suffering years of neglect. Nodding her head some at the mention of her name the aloof girl would simply shrug in admittance. If the Hunter was indeed hunting her down, as to why she did not know, but it wouldn't be hard to find her with a face like hers. Muttering softly slate eyes would move towards the book that rested underneath her hands, sighing softly.

"A pity I don't have the pleasure to know my new Hunter's name."

At least when she got stuck in the trap in the outskirts, that particular male Dark Hunter, had a very good reason not to divulge his name. She was in a trap and in a very unfriendly mood. That time was not proper to discuss introductions. Yet with an easy setting like this, why not know? Clearly the Dark Hunter had done some sort of homework...but not very well. I mean, if she really knew her, then she would have called her a murder. At least, that is what she calls herself. There was a reason why she was not running around with a pack. Even though she had every right to extract revenge on her own family and blood, still, there was a part of her that believed she could have spared some of them...at least maybe then that void wouldn't be so painful. Her mind began to waver as she thought back to last Tuesday, her mind racing until she remembered the sterile room, waking up to a collar and leash. Tunnel vision was how she would watch herself run through the containment center of the zoo, breaking and sneaking away from those that had captured her. Though when she escaped no bloodshed was given. Pulling some of her golden curls from her face, a slow easy response was given to the woman.

"I woke up in a zoo. I managed to escape without harming anyone. I am sorry your time was wasted."

Dragging the book towards her, long fingers began to open it again, readying herself to return back to Underland and forget about this mess.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
