kissing death and loosing my breath
A warm hearted giggle left the young girls lips at the mention of all the fried, glorious treats they would soon be indulging in. If Serafina was at all put off by his reaction, she certainly failed to show it. Instead, the witch offered the man beside her a sly grin, finding that she quite liked this temptress role - even if it only pertained to their food choices for the evening. Either way, Serafina was far too happy to lead her new found companion down the side alleys and still busy streets of Sacrosanct, all the while attempting to engage in some sort of polite conversation. Her head bobbed ever so slightly in understanding at his mention of boxes taking up the entirety of his apartment for the first few months of his life within the metropolis, even if she couldn't quite sympathize. Serafina had never really moved in her entirely life - at least, not in the traditional sense. Still, much like him she was happy to gloss over the details and not pry into where she was not wanted.

"Me? Meh, I was born and raised here. I own a shop several blocks thatta way." Her head gestured to her left as she took a sharp turn onto another side streets, her hand flippantly waving in the general direction of the 'Edge of the Circle'. "I guess college wasn't really for me either." She added, offering him a cheshire grin over her shoulder. He didn't have to know that it had never really been an option for her to begin with. She'd much rather let him believe that somehow, they had some kind of shared experience, something in common then telling him the truth about her harrowing past. Her hand reached out to him as she turned another corner, already beginning to hear the festival nearing them. A small laugh left her lips at his comment, "You haven't been to a festival here yet have you? The streets are crowded! It's very easy to get lost." Her eyelashes fluttered, offering the man a sly wink. Her smaller hand clasped around his, wandering down several further side streets before, with a grand declaration, stepping out into the busy street.

Serafina's grey tinged gaze shifted towards him, watching with glee as the man observed his surroundings with a childish joy. His teasing remark only brought laughter to her lips. "Aw, doesn't that just sound awesome?" She suggested with a teasing remark, although really she couldn't deny her want of exactly the sort of stuffed bear he had suggested. Of course, that was until the man offered her a challenge of his own! Serafina certainly wasn't the type of girl to turn down a good game and let him drag her towards the nearest carnival game. Her gaze traced the water guns in front of her, quickly figuring out what her end goal was, interrupted only by the sound of her companion's voice. "You are so on. I hope your ready to win me a giant bear." She replied promptly, settling in quite a determined fashion in front of her own designated water gun.
