If she wanted to create a safe space then she too would have made herself a hiding place. It was difficult for her to create one when she was stuck in her cage. A blanket was hardly a secure thing. Before she came to the Ark the dark woods within the South was the ideal location to find numerous hiding places. In the Ark she had yet to find herself a hiding place which was actually a good thing â€" it meant she felt safe. Finding Tobias within his own comforting hidey hole was hardly surprising. While the sales associates helped escort severely shaken customers out of the store Raven quietly made her way over. Bending down at the entrance of the fallen shelves and tipped over couches and strewn fancy purses the curly haired woman smiled easily at her companion. She could hear his soft mutterings and her hand would gently reach for his, squeezing it in a comforting manner, reassuring the boy. Her other hand would rub up against his head, right behind his ear in the spot he always liked that smile on her face only growing as he laid himself down in front of her. His gangly form curling perfectly as her other hand rubbed through his hair as she touched his other ear. She could hear the faint sound of his purr and she would bend her head down to kiss his forehead, still creating a peaceful atmosphere within his hiding spot â€" keeping Tobias tamed if only for a while. It is the glare he gives her that causes the tempered girl to sigh as he pointed between the holes of his hiding spot to point to the rain. Shaking her head she would rub the back of his ear in a gentle manner, trying to return him to a happier state than the restless one he was in.

"The rain isn't bad Tobi...I like being in the rain."

Piercing wails of the police sirens caught her attention as her head lifted upwards. The need to get herself and Tobias out of the store was her main concern right now whether it was raining or not. The sound of the familiar stern voice of the store owner caused the girl to flinch and move a few inches closer to Tobias not liking how another male was far too close for her comfort. The unfamiliar sound of many males made Raven feel uneasy, the sound of heavy footsteps heading their way made her jerk away from the opening. Although Tobias hiding spot was quite efficient with portraying the aspect of 'protection.' She did not see two large hands tearing through his walls, but she did feel them grip her shoulder and waist. With a yelp she felt her frame being lifted upward as another pair of hands grabbed her arm and the other side of her waist, Tobias' cave tumbling down â€" the expensive purses falling on him. We got the girl, now you three get him. A trio men began to circle around Tobias, Raven struggled to get away from the two men that began to drag her away from her companion. Shadows began to emerge out of nowhere flooding the entire store, creating a smoke screen type of cover for herself and Tobias. Using her telekinesis she lifted some of the purses and shelves to throw on the offending officers and with their grip loose on her, she scrambled to the ground. As soon as her hands and feet met the floor she shifted already making a beeline for the door as the others struggled with the shadows, thick enough to block the Weres. Shoving her shoulder into the door, she pushed it open, her head craning upwards as the rain seemed to stop falling â€" if only for a moment. Turning her head around she let out a soft bark, wanting her companions' attention.

"The rain stopped Tobi...come on we got to go now."
