kissing death and loosing my breath
Her blue-green eyes narrowed at the exotic appearing woman that stood on the other side of the door way. A small frown crossed Serafina's features as she stared at the female for what was just a brief moment, judging her just as much as the woman was doing the exact same as her. Her lyrics, however, managed to only bring a cheshire simper to her sweet heart lips â€" her wrist flicking momentarily to toss at the woman the carefully crafted vial at her. She hardly appreciated seeing her own fair features staring back at her. And certainly this subtle kind of antogonization surely contributed to the acidic vial leaving her fingertips, purposefully tossing it with enough force to smash on the floor and leak the magic potion that rested within. It was a shame she couldnt simply throw it at the woman's face. Ah well - Serafina would take the victories that she could. Out of the corner of her features Serafina saw the flash of a blade, her eyebrows raising ever so slightly as she watched a knife whistle through the air to lodge itself into the woman's forearm.

Serafina hardly protested to the blonde woman's nudging, letting the woman lead her through the corridor to where ever she saw fit - that is, till she saw the sham ping of the corpse slowly raise to it's feet. A small grin crosses her features as Serafina pauses. After all, the world of the dead was something that Serafina was fully capable of helping with. She might not have dead things to coax to her like her companions but Serafina was able to call to the souls that haunted the world they lived in. It was hardly difficult to locate the warlock's soul, just as it took only a minimal amount of effort to wrestle that soul back into the undead body from wince he came - giving the shambling corpse a measure of intellect that it might have otherwise lacked before her intervention. She was pleased with this - with being able to actually manipulate a ghost rather then having it's sheer will overwhelm her. It was a success for the young girl, albeit a small one. She watched with glee as a knife thrown at their shared creature failed to stop it's determined shamble - that was until she saw Rowena's creature entirely destroyed by a combination of heat and light. It's soul was immediately set free from it's body though it still rested within her command.

A small frown crossed her pressed lips, her gaze immediately shifting towards the protected light aimed at herself and her companion. She made every effort to step within Rowena's way, if only because it was one of the few things the young girl could be relatively useful for. It seemed as if her fellow witches always seemed to step in to save her. Maybe this once she could be the one doing the sacrificing. That is - until the sound of her name on the lips of a familiar voice grabbed her focus, distracting the young female long enough to cause her to pause directly within the path of his little orb intended for the woman whom had become her friend.
