North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

there are as many truths as stars in the sky, and everyone of them different
perhaps that is the only real truth

With each step into the northern side of the city she is overwhelmed by the opulence of the buildings around her. The shops are all high end where a blouse starts at eighty dollars a pop and goes up depending on the cut and quality. Not that Sorcha things spending eighty dollars on a shirt is even worth it - why waste such money? Then again in this area all the people that walk by have on high-dollar outfits tailored to fit them perfectly. Woman clutch their Michael Kors purses with their manicured fingernails and tuck sunglasses into dyed-blond hair that looks straight out of a damn magazine. It is almost sickening how much money is spent in their appearance but it also lends her an exhilaration. Because here, in this district, people would pay ANYTHING to get what they want. She had managed to work on some potions that did well on those gaining a little bit of excess fat. With a bit of her magic she had made it possible so that it would literally burn away fat in a matter of days. This was the perfect niche for that as well as a potion that would help improve hair growth, you know, for all those golf men who tried to hide their balding scalps.

Her favorite bag had been set aside to be mended (as it did not have a few puncture holes in it from a certain were-cat) and was replaced by a durable black backpack that was standard Walmart edition. It didn't matter though, because she had dressed herself in nice black jeans that hugged her figure as well as a billow white blouse that came off looking rich even if it was from a consignment shop. Black tennis shoes fit the ensemble because there was no way she was walking across the city in pumps like the rest of these high and mighty women. Her feet would ache by the end of the day anyways so better to keep them in as good of shape as possible.

She glances around furtively as she comes to a rather wide sidewalk that curves around the edge of a building. A crosswalk meets on one side and has a steady stream of people - the perfect place to set up shop so long as a patrol officer didn't come around and try to chase her off the area. So far, so good, she thinks with a sly smile to herself, immediately setting down her bag and pulling out a very small fold up table that after a few deft movements of her hands stands in front of her with a lacy cloth over it. Then she quickly takes out a few vials from her bag and sets them up in glass containers that were special ordered. The ones containing the fat burning potion were shaped like an hourglass, since that was the ideal figure for women, and the one for hair loss was shaped like a human head. It was all for show and these people loved to buy things beautiful.

"Ma'am!" She says, smiling broadly and stepping towards a lady who seemed desperately trying to cover those extra pounds with a loose shirt, stylish yes, but still failing. "Would you mind taking a look at my wares? I have potions that will help with allergies, with hot flashes, with weight loss," she adds, seeing the sudden spark in the eyes of the woman as she sidles closer. She continues by telling her how to take it and after an exchange of a considerable amount of money (what, things were more expensive here so she charged more!), she hands the vial over along with a card with her name and number on it.

Off the woman went with a beaming Sorcha standing behind, turning now in search of her next customer.
